This is the local spot for many. However, I have given this restaurant 2 chances as the 1st experience wasn't that bad, the food was meh.My second visit absolutely made my mind up.I would absolutely never step foot in this business again. The owner/ Manger was so terribly rude , unkind, and very very nasty to his older waiter. The minute we walked in ,one waiter stopped us to inform us that they are limited in serving certain food as it's getting close to closing. Weq were a party of 3 and If serving us was going to be an issue, he shouldn't have seated us. More customers came in and nothing was told to them, then again it was a different waiter who sat us. While dinning the owner or manager was having a very loud and inappropriate conversation with his friends at his dinner table. Our cousin join us, as we didn't want him waiting for us outside. My cousin was aware he couldn't order food as we told him they will be closing, that was no problem to him. Once again the rude waiter stopped my cousin to notify him no food can be ordered, again he was fine with that. As my family and I were finishing up our meal,a very kind older waiter came to check on us the waiter offered my cousin something to drink. My cousin had said no thank you, I was told not to order anything. However, the waiter was kind enough to bring him a soda anyways. This is where the ugliness began. The owner/manager, starts screaming and yelling at this poor old man employee. I've never seen such profound, unprofessional behavior. He berated this man so terribly, the waiter turned red and put his head down in shame. All for a drink! That to me proves that he is an ugly person and can careless about his customers and employees. Please take a stand and choose to eat elsewhere. The food was distasteful not authentic at all. I did speak up for the waiter. Boy did I let him know how I felt about his disturbing...

Read moreI've been coming to Veracruz since I was a freshman in high school, and living in whittier. I've moved to Pomona, Chino hills and now live in Huntington Beach and I still take the drive to come here.. I'm going on 18years visiting both locations.
What I would recommend. I see this all the time, it's a big menu and people who are new don't know what to order...if you know what you like, just tell them and they'll make it...make your own combo up. I personally just tell the waiter what I want in my burrito and they make it. I ask for their biggest burrito and to stuff everything inside, (choice of meat)beans-rice-guacamole- lettuce, sour cream, cheese. make it wet with red salsa and more guacamole ontop. Next thing you know, I have about a 4 pound burrito at my table. That's the best advice I can give someone. Know what you like, tell them, and they'll bring...
