Angel's Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Santa Fe

You wanna know why this place is called "Angel's"? Because God himself gave them the recipes. That's the only explanation I can think of. Every time I walk in I gotta tell myself to not got absolutely feral for their pastries and cakes. I can't think of a single bad item on their menu. The green chile croissants are to die for. And their tres leches cake is thicker than Jennifer Lopez in Selena. Don't even get me started on the breakfast burritos. Oh WOW! I have come to know the owners very good hard-working people that know their stuff. Their stuff is good food and they know it very well baked goods that oh my goodness, if I went there daily I'd be 200 lb more than I am now. From breakfast burritos to lunch items: frito pies, wraps, cheesecake, pies, empañadas, croissants, you name it it's worth it. I don’t think I’ve ever written a 5 star review until today. We are on a road trip from AZ to MN and needed coffee. We showed up 5 minutes before it opened and waited. The owner (presumably) unlocked the door for us and gave recommendations along with the person in the back who was pulling the pastry’s straight from the oven. We had the most fresh and sweet chocolate raspberry croissant and I took the bakers suggestion on the ham and green chili croissant and I will forever be searching the world for something even remotely close.
