Baja Tacos — Restaurant in Santa Fe

I specifically requested lettuce and tomato on the side. They packed my quesadilla full of onion and tomato. The receipt is correct, still messed it up. Otherwise, one of my favorite places, but this ruined my lunch and I don't have time to go back and ask them to make it again. Service is always polite and professional, but this is just really disappointing because I'm always looking forward to food from here, but hate onion, and this is literally the opposite of what I wanted.

Actual Review: This is ideally a spot to drop into for a quick lunch before going back to work. It's an old Wendy's, there's nothing pleasant about the interior; not a good date spot. However, it's perfectly fine at take-out and drive-thru. Take your food and enjoy somewhere comfortable, it will be good food at an affordable price. Don't bother with the hamburger, the meat is not meant for that, it's a very poor burger. But frito pie, quesadilla, taco, etc., all great and filling portions. Service is always polite and professional. It's just not a "nice restaurant," it's a quick stop for lunch on the move. Avoid needing their restrooms and dining area. This business makes more sense as a permanent food truck, not a restaurant, if that...

The food here is okay, I get the same breakfast burrito, and it's never the same price. The price ranges anywhere from a dollar to a two-dollar difference.

This was a few weeks ago. For instance, a couple of days ago, I bought the same thing as I did today, last time $9.40 or so, and today it was $11.07.

Saturday 9-6-2025. Today I went again second time this week which for me is rare. Which also means I like this place. But today it was $10.25 a couple days ago it w it was around $8. What I realized today as well is when the price is higher its always the same lady who helped me take my order. Also I thought the price difference might have been because I usually use my debit card today I was going to pay with cash but I only had $10 cash. Another thing that I realized was that when the price is the same lady helping me. Nice lady but an observation.

Also what is it with everyone putting the tip on the machine for you ranging from 15 percent to 22 percent and this type place all they do is fix it for you and hand it to you. Not sure if I will keep going to Baja taco as my go to occasional...
