Update: finally ate there, let me tell you, it's way worth it, they did mix a few things up but nothing important, the server was so nice, they had huge table as well I'm sure that was occupying a lot of their time, but my god Eat here, they have great gluten Free noodles (GF friendly), vegan ramen is awesome (V) and can be vegetarian.... I ALSO ENJOYED THE MUSIC playing some rock and punk..it was awesome. it's pretty small place, but the portions are killer, I just wonder if they use yam noodles or rice, they kinda look like yam.
My spouse got the spice bomb, very good, they will load it up... The mustard greens were delicious. Seasoned egg was amazing.
This place gets pretty busy sometimes so be prepared.
Also, the give you chopsticks with the meal, you will probably have to ask for other silverware
They also have takoyaki, I couldn't try it (not gluten free) but if there's one thing I think everyone should try when going to a restaurant like this, it's takoyaki.
Try it please, you may be addicted. One day, I will make Gluten free takoyaki, but until them, I can dream.
Too bad they don't make regular red bean or taro mochi or daifuku without dairy. I love mochi ice cream, but avoid it because the dairy, (seen vegan ones but most places don't have it). Of course, these things seem easy for me, I was a gluten free vegan chef and baker for 4 years lol.
They really treat their customers well.
Amazing food. Wonder what else they make or if they do other specials.
I miss soba and cold noodles, but pure buckwheat noodles are spendy, wish I could find a place that would do gf soba.
Might be cool to have a grab and go fridge here. (Bottle drinks, lil snacks, desserts, quick bites for Lunch, boiled\seasoned eggs, etc.) Or a dessert case, could make good money with one!
Thank you for the delicious meal!
Old: they now found a GF noodle Will try to eat there again. Thank you for letting me know .

Didn't get to eat there, they no longer have gluten free...
Read moreWonderful meal, food, service and atmosphere. We had a large party of 8 , arrived 30 minutes after they opened for the evening and they were almost full already!
We did have a wait since we were a larger party but were texted when it was time for our seating.
We started with edamame, potstickers and Green chile stuffed with shrimp and fried tempura style. All were delicious! The Green Chile was mild but still tasty. The potstickers were very fresh and a little unique with both shrimp and another filling in them.
We ordered about one of each of the ramens, and they were all great. Chewy noodles, umami broth and the pork was delicious in those that had it.
The curry ramen was intense and so spicy my husband loved it. I got miso ramen, which was very tasty miso broth with noodles and half an egg along with the pork slice. I was a little disappointed there weren’t more goodies in mine as I have had in Japan town in California and other places, but it had the option on the menu to add more at a cost. It just wasn’t clear there would be no mushrooms, corn or other goodies as I have come to expect in miso ramen. I did enjoy it anyway!
I tasted all the ramens and they were all very good. I think tonkatsu would be my favorite after miso. The dark tonkatsu was garlicky and delicious too-but maybe too garlicky for me.
All in all we had a great dinner and...
Read moreThis is an easy restaurant to overlook. Cars whizzing by on the street, it's tucked back in a little parking lot, but ohhhh do NOT drive past! This is a delectable little slice of Japan right here in Santa Fe. Run by the same family that owns Naruto in Albuquerque (2110 Central Ave. SE) the food is hot delicious and oh, so yummy! I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and my partner had the Vegetarian Ramen, Portions are generous. We brought some home in a "people bag". The hostess/co-owner Ayame (Ah YA me) was attentive and wonderful. Service was quick and efficient and she checked in frequently to make certain we had everything we needed. This, like the Cafe Grazi (which I also reviewed) is one of Santa Fe's hidden gems. Located at 1965 Cerrillos Rd, the food is flavorful and not too spendy. My partner lived in Japan, when she was young, so she was able to tell me that yes, this menu is authentic! Her Vegetable Ramen was nicely seasoned and delicious. The green tea she had was perfect. Ground so fine it does not need to steep. Our hostess simply poured the water over it and it came out full-bodied and satisfying. All in all, our experience was VERY nice and we will...
