Run of the mill Chick Fil A...the issue is with the staffing.
The bathroom is locked due to the homeless population and requires a code. That is not my issue. My issue is that "the code is printed on the reciept", BUT if you order through their app the code IS NOT on the reciept! There is nothing on the emailed reciept about any code. God forbid you have to ASK a crew member for the code: they are extremely rude and have refused, even though I stated that I'm a paying customer and showed them that I have a digital reciept with NO code. sitting here at lunch today me and 2 other moms had the exact same issue.
Also...their play area. I get that some kids are bigger and rougher, but some of us have taller than average kids who are mentally and emotionally a younger age, and we only come to Chick Fil A to play in their play area. My girl is right under their height limit, and was told to leave bc there was a ton of older boys that she was NOT associated with. Younger sister was OK, but not older sister
$30+ for a salad, 2 kids meals and 2 waters. Rude staff. Not letting kids within/at height limit play in the play area. Not going to get our...
Read moreWe were a family of four about to spend $60 at this Chick-fil-A on a Friday evening during the dinner rush, but ended up leaving and going somewhere else.
Firstly the restaurant had several homeless people taking up tables making for a very unwelcome atmosphere. This is not a homeless shelter and should be a safe place for paying customers and families, but there were no security personnel or employees who are willing to kick them out.
The restaurant was also packed when we went around eight o’clock. There was almost no available seating because literally half of the restaurant tables were closed and blocked off.
When we asked the available employees if they could open the other half (during a dinner rush mind you) they refused because “the owner doesn’t want to”. Probably because they can’t or are unwilling to deal with the homeless coming in and occupying the tables.
We left before ordering and took our...
Read moreMy family and I ate dinner here one evening when other restaurants around town were closing. What I loved were the seating arrangements, the spaciousness of the restaurant, and the friendly and accommodating staff. The automated trash receptacles are neat! I really liked the little touches of decor like the pretty bonsai at our table, and the fact that the table was made from recycled items that gave people jobs through a charity called "A Better Way Ministries". I love seeing businesses give back to the community in this way. I ordered chicken tenders, fries, and lemonade. I loved the lemonade (yummy) but got a minor stomachache after the meal. It was a bit salty and greasy, so maybe that's just me. My daughters enjoyed their meals (chicken sandwiches), and we all agreed that the shakes were delicious. I recommend this place for a quick, family-friendly dine-in option, but it is not for more...
