El Parasol — Restaurant in Santa Fe

i ordered green chilli cheese fries. i grabbed the bag from the window, took it 2 blocks down the road. I grabbed the bag and the everything fell out of the bottom so I took the order back explaining that there was grease caked on the bottom of the bag and it fell out. God bless the gentleman that replaced the order with no questions asked, but when i went to pick it up the lady at the window tried to tell me, "This time keep it on a flat surface." I tried explaining that it wasnt my fault because the bag was greasy when i got it. She very rudely told me again, "Well this time make sure it is on a flat surface." The flat surface was the seat in my brand new car! Which it leaked all over, and spilled over the side of my door and into the parking lot. I love the food but i think i could have gone without the spilling of the food in my car being blamed on me by the lady at the window. I gave 1 extra star for the nice guy who replaced the order no questions asked. But rude service really kills the experience. I have pictures of all of it. Parasol is a staple out of Espanola NM, and one of the newer growing local chains of NM fast casual. Based off an umbrella for the sun, the idea of the original restaurant was to eat outside in good weather under said umbrella. The espanola location as a sit down restaurant called paragua, also good, which has more of the NM Mexican food in an adobe, for rain or snow. Generally the parasol locations have average atmosphere as a result. The food is excellent particularly popular are the chicken tacos/guac, green chile burger, and various burritos. It’s is also one of my favs for quick to find Menudo, albeit there are other options around town so not quite the best imo. After a very long wait we finally got our food, I usually have a great experience here the food is normally excellent. But today I was very dissatisfied. Despite the rude attitude from the one of the cashiers I ordered tortilla burger that was leaking all over it was not wrapped up right it also had more lettuce and tomato than meat. Also a burrito that fell apart immediately. Ordered fries also that were cold not fresh fried not to mention the quality of the fry was very poor. When I had to wait so long I went to the counter to see about my order and the girl says can I help you with sarcasm and attitude , and I said yes I'm waiting for my food. To which she replied oh. Let's see how the manager handles the situation...
