December 7, 2019 Eat there again. It was later in the morning so more diners. Still quiet enough to talk. Staff attentive with quick service. Patrons seemed very local. Food very tastety.

Thursday June 8 10:00 am Our second visit.

This is truly a family restaurant. We arrived at a full parking lot and were surprised to be seated immediately in the large and airy dining room. We were surrounded by couples, small families and friends comfortably chatting (some in Spanish.) Service was fast, friendly and professional. Breakfast is served all day and that is what we ordered. I had a large order of Quesadillas, 2 large tortillas filled with scrambled eggs, chopped green chilies, sausage and potatoes and served with a delightfully hot green chili sauce. It was too much for one unless you are really hungry. My husband ordered the Traditional Homemade Menudo. This family recipe, served with sides of lime, chopped onions, oregano, red pepper flakes and toast, is one of the best we have tried. Portions are large and nicely presented. Noise level rated at 71 db. It is easy to converse as there is no background music. And prices are reasonable. We will be...

I've heard raves reviews about this place from friends and family over the past several years. The other day I finally got my chance to try this place out and to see if it indeed lived up to the reputation it has seemingly so well established for itself. When my mom and I arrived, we were quickly seated and handed our menus. This place offers a little bit more than your standard local breakfast/lunch joint, which of I course appreciate. When the time came to order I decided to go with the basic waffle dish. Which came served along with eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. The meals itself was pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. The waffle was thick and fluffy in addition to the eggs and bacon being cooked just right. The main grievance I had with Sunrise during my visit was the fact that the table seated directly behind us got their order about five minutes before we did. Despite having arrived to the restaurant several minutes after us. Beyond that, I found Sunrise to be both an adequate and pleasant locally owned...

Well I'll start by saying that one of our meals was good... When I ordered on the phone the man rushed me to put my order in, he was very rude and didn't get my order right. When I got there to pick up my food I went over the order with him to make sure it was correct and he LIED straight to my face and said they did not put green Chile on my meal. When I got home it was COVERED in green chili. I took a few bites and it was so bad I couldn't eat my meal. I ended up throwing up what I did eat so I dont think the green chili was even safe to serve. I could not belive they had the audacity to do that.

My father is highly allergic to green chili and could have been hospitalized if I had not checked the meals.

We won't ever eat here again. The service was terrible, I will say it seems much better if you go and order in person. I'm sure they are less willing to lie about your food and could fix it if you...

The parking lot was tiny and crowded, so we parked on the side street. It is an old building with character and basic decorations. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated immediately. It was loud with conversation until a large group left. I ordered a bean burrito with green sauce, beans, and rice. Unlike most places, the pinto beans were mostly whole. The plate was hot and smaller than I expected, but it turned out to be just the right size portion. My burrito had a high tortilla-to-filling ratio and did not have a strong flavor, but overall, was it good. My two kids and wife ordered variations of pancakes. My daughter got a pancake stuffed with whipped cream and strawberries, and it was "amazing." Pancakes were thick and about nine inches wide. The prices were a bit more reasonable than similar places. Service was good, and the bathroom was clean. We would try it again.
