UPDATE: the company has contacted me and made things better. They were very understanding and were ashamed to have served that. Honestly, if anyone experiences the same thing, just talk with them, they will fix things. Never thought I'd leave a negative review for one of my favorite chicken food spots but people need to know. The portions have been halved and the prices have gone up 50%. Their "proudly served" Texas toast is smaller than a damn uncrustable. The chicken tenders meals had chicken fingers smaller than BK's chicken fries. It looked like a kids size portion and for $13?! Hell no. The portions are lackluster and honestly, false advertisement. What a shame.

I was a bit disappointed this time. I was there on the first day of opening of this Raising Canes and it was very good. But today it was really sad. I dislike it very much when I go through the drive thru and the food is like warm when it's handed to me. That was the case today. Luke warm chicken. The fries were less than luke warm and limp and oily. So the oil temperature they cooked in must not be too temp. I had to add sugar to the coleslaw so it tasted better. The toast was cold so it was not too tasty. Very disappointing 👎👎👎😢

This is a great location with a quick drive thru. The food was decent as usual as long as you use their sauce. I mean have you ever had their chicken on its own? It needs salt at a minimum, potentially some other seasoning. Caines does chicken well though and it always seems to be piping hot by the time I start eating it, even if it’s a take out order. The staff are great, the food is fantastic and the atmosphere in the outside seating is great.

I’m disappointed in the service. We went through the drive through about a week ago and ordered 3 box combos. We got home and found we received the 3 finger combos instead. I took the survey on the receipt to report the error and the survey asked if I had called the restaurant so I figured maybe I should do that. I called the restaurant and let the gal that answered know what happened. She apologized and offered for us to come back and get the correct order. It was late and we didn’t want to drive back across town again so she offered to write my name down on a list so I could come back and redeem at my convenience. Great! So my kids and I decided to go redeem tonight and my name was not on “the list.” The manager actually told me that I need to make sure that someone writes my name on the list if this ever happens again in the future. lol… WHAT? How is it MY responsibility to write down my name on a list at their establishment to fulfill an error that was made on their part? I tried to explain that I didn’t really have control whether someone writes down my name after they told me it were to be done and he told me I should have come back in. I explained I didn’t want to drive back across town that evening because it was late and we were tired and his employee had ensured we were taken care of. In any case, he made me feel like it was my fault which didn’t sit well with me. He did end up fulfilling the order but I felt like I had to prove myself… which was awkward and almost embarrassing. I don’t usually treat ourselves to fast food and although we enjoyed our food, we’ve had undesirable service twice in about a week so we will likely not visit again anytime soon. Their attention to detail and follow through needs some...

My fiancee and I venture from SLO a few times a month to satisfy the craving for some Cane's!

This location is great, the customer service is what you'd expect, most times great for being fast food, sometimes humorous and time to time frustrating but that's usually circumstantial as is everything in life.

Food is ALWAYS on point and piping hot from the awesome chicken to their sauces which are always cold and super loaded with flavor, average but good fries, best fast food toast and honestly ... the bread is better than some of the finer barbecue joints. Try their Arnold palmer, you won't regret it.

Oh and time to time our big oaf of a dog ensures his presence is known, puts on a little show of how hungry and starved he is and his new pals at Cane's send him off with a couple of strips of his own!

Lastly, please bring SLO / North County a Cane's, it'd kill it. Royalties...

I always order a side of toast just to get home and not have my toast. Not worth going back over toast. So I finally speak up and kindly ask the drive thru employee to check for the toast because I usually don't get it blah blah. She was super kind it was fine. When she handed me my food, she said "it's in there" and we exchanged smiles, and I departed. Just to frickin get home and see that yes, I did get my toast (as well as my kids meals) but I did not get my 3 Finger Combo. I got the drink but not the food. Sad girl I was. It's just really annoying that for the last 4 times now that I have chosen Canes, that I have been missing my food. Like if your employees are hungry and snakin' the food just let me know, I'll buy em a meal just let me have my dang...
