Blenders In The Grass-Crossroads — Restaurant in Santa Maria

2-3 years ago I made the decision to abandon Jamba and come to Blenders as it tastes better. I am a pretty active blenders consumer, but I enjoy when they are blended and flavorful. However, the last two times have been odd. When every sip contains ice chips or unblended globs of bee pollen it really taints the flavor. I don’t even know how to describe the flavor of this 50/50. Additionally, when the guy taking orders, Joey, thinks everything is funny. Literally first words to me were him joking and saying No after I asked for my flavor. I wouldn’t mind so much if they had greeted me or made the drinks correctly. The drinks came out in a minute, but I’m not surprised as they are just blending them for 20 seconds it feels. Good smoothies and reasonably priced. Extensive menu; which is a bit complex to understand. Customer's order/waiting area is a big empty space with no seating. Staff is friendly but robotic and a bit impatient (there was no concern to educate new customers like us on the product sold). There was no greetings at the door upon entering the establishment (the same occurred for the customers who entered behind us, who left shortly after) even as a store associate been only 14 feet away from the entrance. I love coming to this Blenders location more than the Orcutt location. The staff are always really friendly, no matter how busy they are and they always get our order right.

Today, Sam drew on my son's cup and it made him so happy. He kept saying thank you and how much he loved the rocket and snail on his cup. Thank you Sam for going above and beyond to make my son smile.
