Horchata Mexican Food & Bakery — Restaurant in Santa Monica

Few weeks ago While working in the area One of my coworkers and myself went to this place for lunch, once we got there the line starts from the entrance , back side where the parking lot is ,that's how we get to place the order, 1st time for me being here there was a line, I checked the menu and I wanted to have the desperate burrito , then I decided to Check the rest of the place to see what else they had, when I was looking around this specific lady with glasses kind of in a bad mood or not an exact way of saying things to costumers said loud to get back in the line or else they cannot take my order. Now correct me if I'm wrong but 1st of all there is no such sign at the entrance saying to stay in line, or a number to take to be called when our turn comes, they could just say who's next And we can order All I wanted to do is to check if there was anything interesting for dessert, but with that attitude all I wanted was to get my burrito and leave. By the way this burrito is so delicious, that's why I decided to go again and try different meals, I had the shrimp burrito and the veggie burrito, really good food except this lady, the rest of the workers are super nice and friendly, very helpful. This place is really good. All the baked goods I’ve had are great. Especially the brownie it’s perfect. It’s just sweet enough that you know it’s a dessert. However not overly sweet that your kidneys fail. The brownie has just the right ratio of fudge to bread. Also there Mexican bread is the freshest I’ve ever had. Most other places local to me there just to solid at times seem to be stale. They don’t however have most of the common breads you would find at a Mexican bakery. Food is good, BUT the cook's attitude is really bad. Waited 15 minutes for my french fries.
