During our visit, the initial service was excellent, with a staff member promptly assisting us. We were looking for both food and a refreshing beer, and although the establishment doesn't serve alcohol, we were directed to "Big Deans," just a short walk away. This recommendation proved to be spot-on, as we enjoyed a fantastic Pacifico, along with some delicious fries and onion rings. Upon returning, we ordered a pizza to go, opting for a simple jalapeño and pepperoni combination. While we appreciate a good level of spice, the pizza's heat was underwhelming. The jalapeños tasted as though they were pickled, and the pepperoni had a distinct, processed flavor. The most significant issue, however, was the overall flavor profile. The sauce was overpowering, and the cheese separated entirely from the pizza, suggesting either low-quality ingredients or improper preparation. In hindsight, choosing a different item, such as a sub, might have yielded a better experience. Unfortunately, the pizza, which should be a signature item, fell far short of expectations and didn't represent the quality one would expect in California. To improve, the restaurant needs to re-evaluate its kitchen processes, consider hiring new staff to ensure proper preparation, or risk being surpassed by a competitor who can deliver a superior product. I hope to return in the future and experience a positive change.

Very good pizza place and okay prices for the area. It was very hot inside but the outside dining area was very nice. The service was great, and the pizza came out quickly. I would return again.

Really great pizza and really nice owner! Loved the pizza dough - was super thick and had a great taste - definitely haven’t had a crust that good in a while

We just had pizza and subs here and they were delicious! We are from out-of-state visiting and on a tour bus! We were starving and looking for a place to eat that wasn’t all fried food. This was the perfect spot! The restaurant was clean and the service top-notch. More than service, the workers were personable and friendly. Now the food - great portions and delicious. The sub bread was soft inside and had just the perfect crust! The house dressing was really good too! My daughter and I shared a 10 inch sub and it was the perfect amount! My husband and son shared a 10 inch pizza and they loved it! When we left, we were all satisfied and my daughter said, “we should go back there because it made me feel good inside!” You can’t get much better than that! Thanks Mike...

Be careful if you have disabilities at this location as they might try to argue the laws that protect those with disabilities such as Crohn's or IBS. Despite presenting the law and medical documentation that helps individuals such as myself with their disabilities, the staff tried to redirect to another location and refuse. Thankfully upon informing them of the fine if I reach out to the cops and the possibility that I might soil myself, they reluctantly helped. In my opinion it is very disrespectful and unprofessional for a person to have to defend their disabilities in any establishment. I'm glad me being offended by this aspect is what they wanted to focus on rather than their actions that initiated...
