Amor cafe' at 30A — Restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach

The women who took my order this morning was very polite but as a waited to get my food I asked the woman who was grabbing food if I could have an ice water she was very rude and told me I would have to wait as she was “preparing food” she was putting it into bags it was also my order I expected once she called my name and I took it that she would be ok with getting me an ice water as I am also pregnant and felt very awful. Nope she finished giving me my stuff and when I politely asked again she rolled her eyes said “it’s tap water you know not purified or anything” I told her that it was fine and she gave me a cup half full of water and no ice with a very dismissive attitude. It was extremely disappointing as the lady who took my order was wonderful but I guess that’s why they didn’t have her taking orders.

I have worked as a barista and quite frankly it’s unacceptable to not be willing to give customers water in Florida it is hot especially when you are literally just putting food in bags we will not be back and I would encourage others to do the same unless they can train their staff to be able to fill up a cup with water...

After deciding to give the new coffee place a try we were extremely disappointed. Sunrise coffee doesn't even compare to this disaster. We wanted two very simple coffees which clearly was not an option. A decaf iced americano, and they don’t have decaf coffee. How strange. Wanted an iced coffee with some flavor shots. Then was told they had no drip or cold coffees. You are located almost directly on the beach and don’t have regular iced coffee? This will not last long. Don't waste your money here. Not even worth it. Ended up getting a hot latte and it tastes as if they missed putting the coffee in the cup. The “iced” coffee was 90% water and a bad, weak shot of espresso. Absolutely 5 stars! If you’re anywhere near Santa Rosa, this spot is a must-visit if you are coffee/pasty snob like me! :) The espresso? Top-tier—it’s Illy, which speaks for itself. But what truly sets this café apart is the outstanding service. Dayanne at the register welcomed me with a smile so warm, it turned a rainy day into sunshine—and she even saved my AirPods from me leaving them the day before. Lifesaver! Her honesty and kindness are truly rare. Natalia, the barista, was absolutely on point with my latte—it was crafted to perfection. The café itself is spotless, inviting, and has a great workspace vibe.
