Update: July 2025 Family was in town, so we decided to give it another go. We just seem to have poor luck, but they did remedy at the time of service and were very apologetic.
We had a party of six, and we were seated quickly. We were greeted and received drinks quickly. One order (of six) was brought out quickly. Then we waited over an hour for the rest of our food. Our waitress was nice, but she didn't seem to grasp that we needed an urgent resolution. She told us our food was next out twice before asking her manager for assistance. The manager stopped by multiple times after to check on us and ensure all was going well. They did discount our bill as well. Our lesson: be more insistent when one part of the party receives food and the remainder doesn't. If we visited again, it would have to be after a period of time, since neither experience was great. I do feel this was an anomaly, as we saw many tables receive their food much faster.
Overall, the food was fine, and service could have been a little better (it didn't seem busy, but maybe It was). The atmosphere was a lot of fun.
We visited on Friday in May. We were seated at our table immediately. Our server greeted us quickly, and our first round of drinks came out quickly.
We ordered the fried cheese as an appetizer. It was pepper jack or another spicy cheese, which we did not expect. When mentioned to the server, they thought perhaps the restaurant had received an incorrect order. I would have preferred to be notified at the time of ordering. I am unable to eat spicy foods, but our son enjoyed them. There were five in the basket, and the marinara was good.
For our entrees, we had the House Burger, the Mahi Mahi, and the Club Sandwich. The House Burger was good, and the French fries were tasty. The Mahi Mahi was cooked well and flavorful. The steamed veggies were just right. The Club Sandwich comes with a dill mayo. It had quite a lot. Next time, we would ask for it on the side or a light serving. The bread was well toasted, and the flavors were great. Mac and cheese were ordered as the side, but it was brought out with fries. It took a few moments to catch our server's attention, but once notified, it was quickly corrected. The mac and cheese was a spiral mac with white sauce and tasted good.
We had to ask for refills, and even though two of us were only partially through eating, we were asked if we wanted them to go. This made me feel...
Read moreUntil this morning, I wouldn't have even done this review. My family ate brunch at Andy D's Sunday, April 14th, 2024. Our waitress was fabulous and at this point, my husband and I have been here several times, including the previous day for the art and beer festival where we even met the owner. We have never had any issues and have actually raved about the place and suggested it to numerous friends. My daughter and I both ordered a veggie omelette and my husband ordered the kitchen sink omelette and my son ordered pancakes. Food took a little longer than normal to come out, but she explained that the kitchen had just got bombarded and we were understanding. Got our food, ate, paid and were on our way. Nothing was seemingly wrong with the food. My daughter and I were heading to the beach for a bit and my husband and son went home. My daughter and I both felt very bloated and tired, but just figured we were full. Around 3pm I had the worst heart burn, still didn't really think much about it. Around 7/7:30pm my daughter started violently vomiting. I started around 8:15 and then my husband started around midnight. All 3 of us were VIOLENTLY sick until around 6am this morning. My husband is still currently vomiting (10:42am). I went to their Facebook page and simply made a comment that stated we were in there and that the 3 of us that had an omelette are sick, just wanted to make them aware Incase there were other people in our situation. I get no comment, message, response at ALL, but instead got blocked from the page. We loved the atmosphere and the food up until yesterday, but that has got to be the most cowardly way to handle your business and definitely not how to succeed with the locals that did support you.
Edit I was infact blocked from your Facebook page and now all of a sudden am not anymore. No, I think it's pretty obvious that the omelette's the 3 of us had were the culprit, considering my son and my mother that have been around us all weekend are fine and to get into detail, our puke was literally chunks of pepper and omelette that clearly did not digest at all. Thanks for acknowledging my review and...
Read moreSome of the worst service I've ever experience. Shortly after sitting down, staff spilled an ENTIRE cup of ice water on me. He was super apologetic and I don't at all blame him. He made a mistake and was quick to get towels for me and to help clean up. That buser was very helpful, polite, and quick the entire time. Again, not a single issue with him.
The problem came with our server Erika. Despite this mishap, at no point did she offer to help us out on the bill after I had to spend the entire dinner sitting in wet clothes. Not so much as a comped drink or free dessert or anything. That's literally all it would have taken for me to forget about the ice water incident. And they were happy hour drinks so low cost to comp.
Then when we asked if we could order our meals at the same time as our drinks she had the audacity to tell us "No! I just got 3 tables seated. I don't have time for that. " Seriously? That's the first I've ever heard that.
After we were done eating, we sat there for a good 15 minutes before she came back to our table and asked if we'd like dessert. We kind of did but after sitting there staring at empty plates (and still in wet clothes) we were no longer interested. Another 5-10 minutes goes by and half of our 8 person party leaves because we were still waiting for our checks. You'd think that would be a sign to hurry up to get the table their checks. Nope. Another 5-10 minutes and finally we get our checks.
We immediately hand over our cards to pay and Erika simply places them on the desk by the computer and leaves them there for another 5-10 minutes. Finally she runs our cards so we can pay and I notice a non-cash up charge on our bill. An over $350 table and we get nickel and dimed.
All of this while Erika insulted her bus staff for being new and not knowing what they're doing. And we could clearly see her standing and chatting with her coworkers at times while we waited.
Food was fine. But the service we received was so abysmal that I will...
