Del Valle Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

Del Valle is a regular stop in my work lunch rotation. I may be a bit biased, as one of the people I used to work with now runs this restaurant. I will do my best to be objective.

The chips are fresh and warm. The salsas (they bring two types) are the perfect blend of spice and flavor, and I find it difficult to not fill up on chips. I usually order a burrito with Carne Asada and Salsa Verde.

The Carne Asada is cooked well, and isn't dry. The burrito is a good size, and being the tubber that I am, I can barely finish it. The salsa verde has a decent amount of heat, and goes really well with the beans and rice in the burrito.

Overall, I'd recommend this place. If you haven't been yet, you should definitely check it out! It does seem to change owners often, but I think this one is...

This is my first visit to Del Valle. It was formerly Mi Tierra. I went on an off hour between lunch a dinner so it wasn't very busy. I got a Chile Relleno Burrito to go. It's basically a super burrito with a chile relleno inside. The burrito is super large so I ate half and saved the other half for another meal. It was sooo good! The flavors were well balanced. It came with a small amount of in-house made tortilla chips and 2 types of salsa (red and green). I loved the Salsa Verda (green) over the Salsa Roja (red). Maybe it was personal preference. One thing that stands out about del valle is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have had a nearly perfect dinning expieranced with them .From take out to dine in. Between my friends and family roughly over 200 orders only complaints about wish i could get this late night. it's clean flavors quality food and ingredients prepared in a manner with care taste great.
