Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

I absolutely love the Dutch Brothers on Hopper in Santa Rosa - I have been going here for a while now and they are always so sweet and super animal friendly They’re always funny and they keep it real and they are not fake. That’s what I love. But now, for the reason, I want to write this review. - So today, July 17 2025 sometime before 3:30 I believe. I went to Dutch Brothers and I was having a mental crisis. I’ve been having a mental crisis for a while now and I am just really struggling mentally and I just like finally broke down and I was crying and I was like an emotional distress and I just needed a toasted, mellow, hot cocoa to wash away my tears and bring me some joy, even if it was for a moment. I had my service dog with me and my emotional support animal and it brings me joy to see them get down on a pup cup and bone treat and I needed that in this little moment in this little bubble if you know five minutes or whatever would bring me joy But while I was sitting in line, just broken crying with contemplating life, one of the barista’s walked over to me with complete concern asking me if I was OK asking if she could give me a hug actually showing true concern wasn’t fake she was being a real true caring human being and it touched my soul And in that moment it just brought me out of the darkness. I was feeling even though I was still crying and still having a mental crisis, she was this bright light And I just want to thank her because most people wouldn’t show concern or offer a hug and she also offered to pay for my drink and I didn’t want her to because I didn’t want any pitty. And then when I got up to the window, the barista there also showed true concern and told me if I am ever feeling like this to come anytime it’s always a safe space to be there to talk to them and it was like a light broke through this darkness I’m still going through something very heavy, but there’s a light to know that there’s people there who may not know me, but to know that there’s a safe space it was just so thoughtful who didn’t expect anything in return. They will never truly know that kindness that they showed me How much difference that made in my life today.Thank you Dutch...

Drive through only with some outdoor seating. Some of the kids working inside were on their cell phones, and through the walk up window the kitchen seems really messy and looked sticky. The kids working, though, were very nice and kind, with good customer service skills (I specialize in CS), but I feel like they could have been cleaning up, emptying the overflowing garbage can. Part of customer service is the presentation of the business itself inside and out. It felt gross. I had never been to a Dutch Bros before so flavor of coffee is subjective and everyone has their own idea and pallet for their idea of a good coffee. It just wasn't for me. My two family members who were visiting from out of the country got the iced Chai teas, and we didn't see anything on the menu saying it was going to be so grossly sweet. Again, that's a subjective opinion, but they couldn't drink it. As far as getting something to snack on, the only choices were muffin tops that tasted like 90% sugar, 8% flour, and 2% imitation flavored ingredients. The muffin tops were ice cold as if they were pulled out of the freezer that morning. Being it was my first time at any Dutch Bros, I guess from all of the hype I've heard over the years, I was truly disappointed. Again, flavors of coffees and snacks are all subjective per the person consuming it. If these kids learn more about the whole of customer service, they'll be really good as they get older, they really were very nice and friendly for being so young. They didn't make us feel like we were bothering or interrupting them in any way once we got them to look up at us...

I had my best experience at my Dutch Brothers pickup order this evening. So I think it needs to be said publicly how awesome the young woman that helped me tonight was. I didn’t get her name, but she did have a lip piercing, blue eyes and wore fake eyelashes.

I can see she really appreciates working there and doing her best for the business and the customer. Customer service goes a long way with me having been a previous waitress in my 20s so I appreciated her service very much.

Sometimes I will refuse to Patron any business with bad service no matter how much I like something. One little thing and my business will go elsewhere.
