Let start with the food, Outstanding. We shared the tomahawk steak cook rare it was spot on with outstanding flavor, I would say better than Salt lick in Las Vegas NV or even Morton… the asparagus was not over cooked and had very good flavor, I would suggest light sauce with it to put it over the top. I had the Caesar salad it was also very good though I would suggest chilling the bowl before serving before serving. Now to dessert we had the chocolate fondue… over the top outstanding the pretzel was the best I have ever had in my life. Moving on to service. We were lucky to have Marty, she was outstanding never let our drinks run out and fast our plates as we finish our meal. Now atmosphere, I would suggest to tone down the music and do something about the smoke from steering the steaks in the kitchen but other than that, a great environment, definitely a place to put on your list to have lunch or dinner. We will be back to try several other things on the menu and we will update as we try each of them

We had an amazing experience. The charcuterie nachos were a standout—flavorful, unique, and perfectly balanced. The goat cheese flatbread was crisp and creamy, and the meatball appetizer was hearty and packed with flavor. The French fruity martini was smooth and refreshing—easily one of the best cocktails I’ve had. We finished with the chocolate fondue, which was absolutely fabulous—fun, rich, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was both stylish and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Been traveling up the East Coast for over 20 years and frequently stopped in Santee and we’ve always gone to the Captains Quarters or Clarks. We were excited to see that there was a new restaurant that looked promising. We were happy with the atmosphere and the service, but the food was a little disappointing. The brussel sprouts tasted like they had been frozen. Would not be in a hurry to come back here unless it was the only thing available.

Cork and Barrel is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in South Carolina. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, upscale atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile.

The food? Incredible. Every dish was made with care, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re craving elevated charcuterie or a perfectly cooked steak. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and everything tasted delicious.

Their drink menu is equally impressive. A great selection of wines, craft cocktails, and your traditional beer perfectly complement the menu. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate, offering great recommendations and making sure everything is just right.

This is the kind of place that makes a small town feel like a hidden culinary destination. If you’re anywhere near Santee, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Cork and Barrel is an experience you...

We were excited to try this place since we were in town celebrating our anniversary and this was our first night. The atmosphere and food looked like it would be nice from the website. The service and food were not good. We both ordered the ribeye which came significantly underdone and extremely fatty. There was so much fat on my husband's steak that he did not want to eat it. The server rarely checked on us or asked if we needed anything. I informed him that he forgot my salad and the steak was underdone and he immediately walked away. Few minutes pass by and he comes back with the salad and asks what do I want to do about the steak. There was no apology or anything besides I will throw it back on the grill. For the price of their menu, I would expect better service and food. My baked potato was not done all the way and his sweet potato...
