I know the workers at my local Jack In The Box are doing best. However, the service has been steadily declining. We are now upwards of around 80% the time they don't get the order right, that is four out of every five times my family and I order from them. That's ridiculous.
This last time, an order was placed by my significant other, and she walked down to get it. When she arrived, the woman behind the counter told her that it was at another Jack In The Box 4.3 miles away, even though the address on the order was that restaurants address. They told her that they did not have the order. Being on foot to pick up lunch for our kids, she walked back home empty-handed. Then she asked me to pick it up on the way home from work.
I stopped in and found out that they actually had the order, and it had been sitting on the countertop wire rack all this time. I requested that for her trouble, they should provide a drink on the restaurant on them for her. They ignored my suggestion. At least they remade the meal for her, so it was hot and fresh.
Observation: The restaurants shift lead barely spoke English and couldn't operate the register without her subordinate teaching her how to do it. The restaurant was entirely staffed by people who seemed to speak Spanish exclusively or English as a second language.
I will likely return to the restaurant, however I cannot trust them to get the order correct; find my order; know what store they are at; or, understand the primary language used in the business they...
Read moreI recently visited this location through the drive-thru and ordered a burger and jalapeño poppers. Everything seemed fine initially, and I paid for my order at the window. However, after about 10 minutes, a staff member returned to the window and informed me that they had made a mistake with the poppers. While I appreciated the honesty, I simply requested an item of equal value in place of the poppers, as I had already paid for them. To my surprise, the employee responded by saying, "Don't take advantage," which was both unexpected and inappropriate. I wasn't attempting to take advantage; I simply wanted to receive the value of what I had paid for. In the end, I left with a burger combo and an extra order of curly fries instead of the poppers, which was not equivalent to what I originally ordered. This experience was frustrating, and the lack of professionalism from the staff left me disappointed. I hope this issue is addressed, as customer service and respecting what’s paid for should...

First time: Went by at 5:30am. Sat at drive-thru speaker for a minute, no greeting or acknowledgement. Pulled up to the window, nobody inside. Parked and went to the door, both of which were locked. Finally saw an employee inside. We made eye contact, she shook her head and turned away. Tried the drive-thru again and wasn't acknowledged. Went to Starbucks instead.
Second time: Went in at lunch time to order from the counter. The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few days. Fries and food waste everywhere in the dining area. When I got my meal, my sandwich looked like it had been sat on.
It doesn't seem like anybody here really cares, and I've been to other JBXs that are tidy and serve good food, so the "well it's fast food" excuse doesn't fly. So, if you don't care about your service and shop, then I'll...
