The only redeeming quality of this restaurant was the server and the cook. There were absolutely zero masks being worn by anyone either working or coming into this restaurant which is already extremely small. While we were there, customers were all kept in the exact same location zero distance from anyone else. More people kept coming in by the group and instead of the two employees that were there telling these people to either wait outside or come back at a later time they allowed these customers to just stand around not one of them masked at all. On the menus as well as a notice on the front door saying that there's not enough people that are working there so that their food might not be the best yada yada. This is really an unacceptable excuse by the ownership to not pay their employees a living wage. There isn't a worker shortage there is an employer with scruples shortage. For waffle House to have such a blatant disregard for health and safety of humanity is beyond disgusting. I've gone to a couple of different places in South county and it seems to me that this area specifically does not enforce any type of pandemic safety measures whatsoever. I don't care if your employees already have been vaccinated, they still should be wearing a mask until this pandemic is over. I personally have been affected tremendously by covid I'm dealing with long covid which has now given me an autoimmune disease and so yes my anxiety is through the roof when completely surrounded by people who obviously don't care about anyone else besides themselves. I won't be going back to this waffle House ever again. And it used to be my favorite...
Read moreWould give 10 stars if I could! We had laundry to do, then a quick trip to the mall, so we were hungry when we decided to stop at Waffle House, knowing they had great hashbrowns. I had been craving them and remembered Waffle House was a great place to go for good food. We definitely were not disappointed. Everyone in there was extremely friendly, even the other customers sitting by us.
Our server (I believe his name was KScott, but not sure), wasted no time in waiting on us and was so friendly! I felt like we were at Cheers, where everybody knows your name. I ordered a double hashbrowns with the onions and a waffle, and the other order was for the chicken melt hashbrown bowl. We expected to wait awhile, but the wait was extremely short! The hashbrowns were perfection, and for once, I didn't care if I had ketchup on them or not. The waffle was absolutely, without a doubt, the very best I have ever had! Kudos to the cook! My child had the chicken melt hashbrown bowl and asked if we could go back and get more tomorrow!
We were never rushed through our meal, and the server was great! We will definitely go back again, and soon!
Prices are very reasonable, and there are many options for extras on the hashbrowns. It's definitely a great place to have...
Read moreThis little gem is consistently making a delicious breakfast. If you like eggs, this spot delivers a quality egg every day. The yokes are always large and cooked as ordered.
If you like potatoes, specifically hash browns, Waffle House offers the best bang for the buck and they are always served perfectly golden and never soggy.
What can I say about toast? It's toast. Having said that, it's always warm, buttered, and ready for egg dippin' if that's your thing!
I can eat for $5 here and it's delicious. I don't typically add a meet with my meal but even if I do I stay under $9.
I feel my particular location delivers quality and consistency that you cannot get anywhere else.
The service is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is great.
Waffle House has it down to a science.
I will say that they are not currently offering a full menu but the choices that they have should appeal to everyone.
If you were hoping you would get a review on the waffle I'm not your guy. But for a standard and relatively quick breakfast this is hands down the best bang for the...
