Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Saraland

I've been to DOZENS of Godfather's Pizza stores in my life, and this one definitely is the worst. First, we ordered online, so it would be ready when we got there, as we had plans to see a movie right after. When we got there, the girl at the counter acted all confused that we had ordered on line, then told us it would be another 10 minutes. Does it take 40 minutes to make a pizza? No! They didn't pay attention, and didn't see our order. There were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE, so it's not like she was busy! THEN, 25 minutes after she told us it would be 10 more minutes, my husband went to the counter and asked what was going on. It was then the girl at the front counter noticed that our order had been sitting under the heater, and "forgot" to let us know. She was too busy chatting with the other employee in the back to notice our order. I went to the counter and read her the riot act, then she sent a manager up. He refunded us the entire amount, but we missed the movie we had purchased tickets for the day before! So we are out $22 and a good pizza. We thought going to Saraland would be nicer, since it is a small town vs Mobile city. What a mistake!! We will never go there again. It seems like socializing with each other was much more important than customer service. I told the manager he needs to train his employees to work, and not yap while on duty! Next time, we will go back to the Mobile store, where, even when it was busy, we got our order on time, and hot (not sitting under a heating lamp). Like I said, I've been to dozens of Godfather's Pizzas in over 6 states in my life, but this is by far the Worst I've ever been to!! The girl at the front counter needs to be canned! I can see by other reviews, she is problematic to many, and belongs in a call center, not face to face customer service!! We ended up at "Huddlers" around the corner, and got 2 full meals for Less than the pizza meal was going to cost. We got there the sign says Buffett $6.99, not true. Charged $9.99 for first one then $6.99 for second person. Asked for a Veggie pizza for my husband. My son asked them to cook a Supreme, after 45 mins the Supreme still hadn't came out, we asked a heavyset girl with long ponytail if she knew why it wasn't out after 45 mins of waiting. She gave us a hateful look and said do you want to talk to manager? She had been ignoring us before hand and saw we were standing there to get her attention. The manager came out, very young girl and was very nice and asked if we wanted a refund, I told her yes. She refunded my meal. My husband had eaten the veggie pizza. All I have to say is that is our last time going there. All I got to eat was a small salad and one small piece of pizza that had been out for hours and that is why we were having them make fresh pizza. I saw them throwing at least 5 or6...

I have been here 3 times in the last week and a half! I stumbled across this Godfather's while visiting the shopping center in Saraland. Decided to grab a small pizza for dinner because it was so convenient. I'd forgotten how good Godfather's pizza could be! The pizza here is perfect! I always get the mini-pizza Classic combo! It's the perfect size to satisfy my appetite but not make me feel like I over ate! The toppings are plentiful with enough sauce to give it that zing! The crust pulls it all together with the perfect amount of crispness and the cheese, by far, makes this the best pizza I've had in years!! Thinking I may need to make another...
