I found this restaurant by accident on Google maps because I was staying in a hotel by the airport, and this was located nearby. It is located in a mostly abandoned shopping Plaza owned by Ringling College. We got there right at 5:00 and we were the first customers. Service was great. We knew very little about central European food. They gave us recommendations and everything was excellent. The pork confit was delicious. The pierogies were flatter than I've seen and I enjoyed the filling to dough ratio. They were a little bit like a potsticker, and were a little heartier than I expected. The potato pancakes were really crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We had a beef dish also. I can't remember what it was called, but it was really tender like brisket and very flavorful. Expect it to look kind of dumpy on the outside and clean and modern on the inside. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. You will not be disappointed. Go in a group and share the dishes around the table so you can try different things. Lots of parking.
