It is a very nice place and fun little course for an afternoon but right at the end we did not have as nice of an experience. There is an elderly ma'am who works there who saw that we reached the last hole. She badgered us to turn in our golfing apparel and follow the rules or she was kicking us out. Me and my little brother tried to explain that we had skipped a hole because a large family was playing at it and we wanted to go back, and she scolded us and got so angry at us for trying to go back to that one that i said the wrong hole number. When I tried to correct it she got angry at me again, and said that either we went to the wrong numbered hole like I said, or none at all.
We played the wrong hole, turned in our golf clubs and balls by ourselves because we promised we would only play that one and we did not want her to get angry at us again, and sat in one of the picnic tables. Our parents were not there to pick us up yet so we decided to walk around the golf course looking at the skeleton pirates hidden around the course. When we finished we sat back down at the picnic table and the same lady came up and told us to leave, she was kicking us out. I think she saw us walking around the course on the cameras. We had to wait for our parents on a bench outside and it was cold. My little brother was very sad, and by the end I was sad and angry, so it kind of ruined our day.
I think if you want to have more fun you should go to other locations around town, because the employees are more relaxed and will understand if you want to go back. I have to say the other employees at this location were very nice, just this ma'am was very rude, but the other employees had to follow her lead, so she must have been higher up. I know she was trying to keep the golf course orderly but we were not there to cause trouble, we just wanted to play. We are not hooligans, just me and my...
Read moreWow! This place was great! I've been to MANY mini golf places over the past 20 years and this by far has to be one of the best ones. But probably not for reasons you may think of. The Staff was absolutely wonderful. There was an older woman with short hair who was an absolute treat! Made me feel like family! There are plenty of "shade" spots for you to escape the hot sun. There are drink holders everywhere for you to set your drink while you putt. Plenty of places to sit and rest and caves that provide a cool place if you overheat. All of these amenities are very thoughtful and made what could be a very hot and miserable time, very comfortable! They also have a place for you to feed baby alligators! The course is an 18 hole course that isn't difficult and is great for people of all ages. The spouse and I battled it out today but plan to bring the family this week. Oh... and they sell cold beverages! Sodas, waters, juices and adult beverages! There are bathrooms on site that were very clean and places to sit and eat ice cream if you need a break. All in all great experience! If I could give a higher...
Read moreOne of the best mini golf places we've been to! Fun course! Gators are a cool touch to have a this place! Idk if it's worth it to buy the food to feed them though because they were not hungry nor lively, but very cool to look @ and watch! Customer service is top notch & they even gave us a military discount which we were pleasantly surprised they offered since Sarasota is not a military town. Super kind & friendly to my younger boys (5 & 10). Gave them both beaded necklaces which I thought was very nice of them! We don't live here but this is my hometown & when we come back we will come here again! My daughter (12) won a free game so this is a bonus! Loved this place! Course was great too! They even have how to get a hole in 1 picture @ the start of each hole! My 10yo loved trying to folow the pictures! Thanks for a fun morning thing to do in Srq! Oh and the music was pleasing to my 80s...
