The Mable - Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Sarasota

The very first time I visit The Mable I was pleased and happy I had found a place where I could relax and enjoy at least eating a good fish and having a nice drink. The Grouper Sandwich is my favorite and go to meal at The Mable, due to I’m pescatarian and don’t eat any other animal flesh. But I have experience not one but three times the fish was not cooked right, it was overcooked, and little burned. (I know that will be taken care of) I want to make it clear The Mable still is one of my favorite place to be specifically after work when I leave work hungry that is the first place that comes to mind. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff ( Bartender are very friendly and they will accommodate you in any situation or special drinks) Sean is good at remembering the kind of drinks I like, the second time I visited The Mable Sean even remembered my name; that was very impressive to me and that was last year.Thank you Sean. The manager is very kind and respectful the owner is also a very good person and down to earth human being. That is my humble opinion and experience...

This is one of my only reviews I’ve ever left. Sitting at the bar in Mables I was hoping to watch a specific football game, I asked the person behind the bar if I could watch Fox Sports and response was “nope “the owner told me not to turn the channels.which seems strange since nobody in the entire place was watching any of the TVs. The five TVs were set to Jeopardy, without sound. A Clemson football game. The Kansas City Royals baseball game. A static screen that said booking.com. Because there was no programming. And the fifth screen had on the kc baseball game again. crazy. I noticed a couple sitting at one of the ends of the bar for 15 minutes without being served and they left. They mentioned to the bartender that they were leaving and three or four other people sitting at the bar said see you later. And the bartender didn’t seem to care at all. it’s really sad. I’ve been here five times and enjoyed my experience most of the time. Give it a two star since the Caesar salad was good. I hope you guys can figure out how to loosen up on the TV channels...

I love the Mable cause they allow a great artist Benjamin Jacobs to play and do open mic nights every Tuesday which are awesome and very enjoyable. I also often buy the food they serve as a late night meal (compliments to the Chef). Ive always had love for the place even before it was called Mable but years ago as an upcoming artist whomever had ownership allowed us to play at a different open mic and once me and my crew showed up we got on stage started performing and I kid you not even 30secs after starting the police comes in and tells us that we needed to stop the music because we were to loud. Im not making this up im just telling it like it is. Now the atmosphere is a different vibe and I love showing up and watching everybody smile and have a great time. The Mable needs to book...
