I used to go here all the time with my friends before I moved away and loved it. I am in town with some of those friends and we decided to go for old times sake. I was in a sleeveless shirt, blank chinos, and sneakers. When I tried to go to the bar, the bar tender refused to serve me and when I pointed out that the woman right next to me was wearing spaghetti straps and several other women didn't have sleeves on he just shrugged. I've never had a problem at memories before and when I asked about the rules he just said there is a sign that says popper attire. So when I went to go tell me friends standing at the pool area that I wasn't allowed to be served he came over and got in my face and told me I had to leave. A friend of a friend came and gave me a shirt and I came back in and then took this picture. I don't mind if places have rules and are nice about enforcing them but it seems like for some reason I was the only person the rules applied to that night. I won't ever be going back again. You lost a repeat customer and ruined a lot of great memories I had at that bar.

Great old school dive bar. Very impressed on our first visit, friendly people, and an awesome bartender named Sharon. Small but comfortable. Smoking bar, no food, but occasional b- day parties where food is brought in and EVERYONE can enjoy. Full liquor, pool, bowling and a package store connected. Bar has been here almost a half century, but seems to have been well maintained, cool old style cooler. Easy to find, if ya like dive bars this is one to visit.

Depends on the bartender. Christine is the only decent bartender. And since I had my wedding reception there 7 years ago and this has been my local bar for 17 years, when they lost Lucky Leo, the only worthwhile people there work in the liquor store and feel mistreated and hate the owners. Never go here. Not worth it. Go to Holiday Liquors instead.
