Restaurant review

Hey foodies! I just had the most wonderful meal at C'est la Vie, this great little French restaurant, and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you all! They just opened about a month ago and they are nestled in a little shopping area off market street in LWR. First off, let's talk about the food. From the appetizers to the desserts, every dish was so fresh and packed with flavor. They've got this knack for blending ingredients that just make each bite leave you for wanting more. And the service? Top-notch! The owner greets you with a robust welcome when you first come in. The staff here are so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They knew their stuff too—offering great recommendations and accommodating. The atmosphere was spot-on too. It's got this cozy feel that's perfect for catching up with A great friends. Overall, I left C'est la Vie feeling completely satisfied and happy. It's definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience with a bit of French flair. All pastries are baked on site and have the freshest ingredients. You’ve got to try their croissants. They are huge! Whether you're celebrating something special or just want to treat yourself to some awesome food, this place ticks all the...

Picked up a friend from the hospital. We were both pretty hungry. But we agreed that we wanted to eat local. This newly opened cafe is wonderful. I had a Paris baguette (simple ham, cheese, and butter). My friend had sandwich with Brie, apples, and walnuts. She also has a salad. Neither of us could eat more than half the sandwich. But that did not stop us from bringing home dessert. We brought a raisin roll and apple strudel home for later. Everything was outstanding and delicious. Prices were extremely reasonable. The manager (owner) did come over to see how we liked our meal. He told us a little bit of history that was involved in opening this particular place. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. All the food and bakery looked so delicious. I’m definitely looking forward to returning. Sadly, I don’t live in Florida. I’m just visiting a friend. But I do hope to return at least one more time...

Ordered a lemonade that tasted like poison. Then I ordered an ice coffee and it was served with individual cups of 1/2 and 1/2! Really low class and tacky. They asked to leave because they had a party of 8 coming in and they needed our table. we left and chances are good I would not go back. Bad attitude and bad coffee! Shameful **This happened yesterday. The coffee was served in a glass,as it should be, the mini creamers are ridiculous and low class, like McDonald’s. The chairs and tables are uncomfortable and we were disappointed with the treatment. My friend and I were not hungry so we didn’t eat, but we would come back another time to eat, but not with that attitude. I have never been asked to leave a table to allow for a table...

This is a great place. This isn’t really a cafe it’s more of a sit down restaurant with a menu and a sever. Finding the place so easy if you follow maps. Service was good. The staff were very friendly and professional. However they did forget about my food I ordered. And didn’t provide silverware. Had to steal it from the table next to us. The food looked amazing they had so many good choices and pastries that I’ve never seen before. The food we ordered was absolutely amazing the soup and avocado toast were wonderful. And pistachio cake tasted amazing with my cappuccino. Great place and good food. Just could do better with service and attention to details.

We’ve recently moved from Chicago and found our new fav French spot! Have enjoyed many a fabulous croissant and espresso in the very capable hands of Gregory, John and Carol, but it was our delight this week to attend the wine tasting dinner hosted in conjunction with the culinary team at C’est La Vie Sarasota. If only one could taste the delicacies featured in these photos…Be sure to keep this gem in mind for your next breakfast, lunch or brunch, and do not miss the ongoing wine tasting series for a delectable experience!
