Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

This Papa John's is awful. They canceled my order outright. I will never do business with this location again. It is the worst. If you want pizza you are better off going to the nearby Publix and buying a frozen pizza than this place. Terrible service.

Update 03/04/2023 -- This location doesn't deliver. I recommend doing business with the SR 70 location and skipping this one. I give good tips, like $20+. I guess the people here lose out. Oh well.

I've ordered pizza from the Papa Johns situated near the intersection of Market Street and University Parkway a few times now. So far, the experience has been 100% positive.

Ordering is easy; it takes around 25 to 40 minutes for the order to be complete. I'm okay with that noting that the pizza and sides I've ordered have always arrived perfectly cooked and hot. This includes when I've ordered sort of late after a game. Sometimes with other places, I've ordered within 2 hours of closing and the pies were obviously rushed and sort of undercooked. Not with this Papa Johns!

Everything I've had from this location has tasted great. The delivery drivers are on point and courteous - be sure to give them a well deserved excellent tip. I am glad that this Papa Johns opened here. It's proven an excellent chain pizza source. I am sure I'll order again from them down the road.

7/25/25: Tonight was by far the worst delivery service that I have experienced for a simple pizza dinner. I ordered 5 items from the website for delivery. I received a call telling me one of my items was unavailable so I chose a replacement, then they delivered only some of my items, then after calling to ask for my missing items and waiting for a driver to come back out, they delivered the wrong items. I am an understanding person, and called just to let the manager know that there was another error, and that I would accept what I received, but it's important that they know the multiple errors in this order so they can pay closer attention in the future. All I got was a rude "ok" and then total silence. I really hope that if someone is managing a business, they learn to accept responsibility and learn how to talk to customers when the errors were completely on their end. A simple "sorry for the mistake" was definitely warranted at that time. Very disappointing to not be able to enjoy the whole meal in...

Consistently Delicious & Fast Service – Shoutout to Manager Austin!

I’ve been to the Papa John’s on Market St a few times now, and every visit has been fantastic! The staff are always friendly, and my orders are consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. The pizza is always perfectly made—cheese is melty, the crust is the perfect balance of crispy and soft, and the toppings are generous.

I’d also like to give a special shoutout to Austin, the manager. He always goes above and beyond to ensure my experience is great, whether it’s checking on my order, offering recommendations, or just providing excellent service. It’s clear he takes pride in running a smooth operation, and it really shows in the quality of both the food and the customer service.

The location is always clean, and despite how busy it can get, the team delivers quickly without sacrificing quality. This has become my go-to spot in Bradenton, and I’ll definitely be back! Keep up the awesome work, Austin...
