I have to start by saying that this particular place was our favorite.. We have always enjoyed there pizza 🍕.. But on February 2nd 2021, that all changed!! On this date, we made an order to be delivered.. Now it consisted of a special and I also used my loyalty points and usual survey responses to get free cheese bread.. So this total order was 2 pizza’s (one that was Gluten Free), Brownie, and cheese bread. Now without any coupons and promotions, it would of been approximately $52.. With that said, it came out to approximately $29... The first problem that arose was the driver had to call me and explain that my order sat in the window at the store without alerting him that it was ready.. The best part of this story was the driver calling me personally to let me know that the pizza’s were COLD and he refused to deliver them COLD!! Now I want to personally Thank him for taking the time to let me know that since he always delivers to my residence in the past orders and considered us a great customer... That was greatly appreciated!! . He informed me that he made them remake my order and it needed to be Hot!! Once again, outstanding driver!! He also explained that it would come a little late since they had to remake my order.. I was fine with that since we wanted hot pizza 🍕.. Unfortunately when he did arrive, I didn’t check inside the boxes to confirm my order.. Not sure many people do? But when we opened the boxes, the main pizza was nothing like we ordered.. Now it’s been approximately an hour and a half into our failed order.. So I immediately called the store and explained the mistake.. The person at the store confirmed the order was wrong and was very apologetic. She explained that their pizza’s were expensive and we should never have problems like this!! She stated that she had my number and the owner would call me in the morning to hopefully make this right and credit back my payment.. She also offered to send the SAME order again that night, but I declined since we had finally got something after almost 2 hours and I had something to at least feed the kids!! I was hoping that the owner would at least compensate me the next day.. Well, (guess what?) as if I have to say what you are already thinking 🤔, NO Callback in the morning or ever!! So, as for today (2/23/21), I called the store in advance for a later order in the evening.. While talking to the Manager, she was made aware of my last order and problems and offered a credit for an order of $18... While I had her on the phone, I checked my bank statement and confirmed I paid &29 for the last terrible order!! She agreed to credit my next order for that amount.. With that being said, I did explain that the order was done online and I used my loyalty cash with Marcos Pizza 🍕 and coupons and survey to achieve that amount!! BTW, all past surveys were Excellent!! So she assured me that when I call back later to place the SAME order, they would take care of everything!! So tonight when I called the store to place that order, I was informed that it would be &52 and a credit of $28.. And I was responsible for the difference!!! 🤬. So let me informed you first, and I do know that you already know this, but calling in your order alleviates most coupons and you pay full price!! So when I explained to the young man on the phone that I had spoke with the Manager approximately 2 hours prior, that she said it would ALL be taking care of and would duplicate the same order!! The young man put me on hold and supposedly called her.. When he return back to me on the phone, I was told that he would only credit my order $28... With approximately 35 minutes on the phone with him, I was instructed to call the Owner in the morning.. That was his only suggestion.. So now I have hungry kids waiting on a pizza and nothing to offer from their favorite place!! ALL My previous attempts prior to this order and assurance from the Manager were in vain!!! So my approximate 58 minutes to attempt to order a pizza and prior conversations with the Manager was totally...

I decided to recently give Marco's Pizza at State Road 70 and Lakewood Ranch Boulevard another try. Previously when I had ordered they canceled my order after I had paid for it. They did refund the charge, but it was disappointing to say the least.
This time, though, Marco's delivered. They were prompt, delivered an excellent, hot pie, and the delivery worker was professional and courteous. I will presume my prior experience was an anomaly. If Marco's keeps up this great work, I will be a repeat customer. Their pizza is delicious and far better than other local chains!

They canceled my order.
I've had Marco's before and found their pizza good quality and their workers expedient and professional. Unfortunately, I recently placed an order around 30 minutes before advertised closing and received an email notification that the order was placed (and my credit card charged). When I opened the order status, though, it indicated it was canceled.
I get that there are worker shortages, but if a business is so short-staffed that they cannot fulfill orders, maybe they should adjust their advertised open/close times?

Read moreI have ordered pizza twice from this location. Pizza was really good. The employees where nice and friendly. When I arrived David and a young lady said I made their day with laughter. Mind you I said nothing about sexuality no bad words and no anger.i call my 3rd time a So called MANANGER answered with these exact words" stop calling and harassing my employees " not a hey can I take your order to see how I would act.i asked for David because he had closed on me last night early time was 1036. He said last order in at.1045. I called and was on hold then I called again mind you I now notice that they see who is calling. My complaint is the customer service I received tonight from he said a manager Nathan .iam besides my self that he had the nerve to call me out as a customer and tell me to stop harassing his employees....I've ordered 2 pizzas from them. Anyway customer service and management is not good at this store so don't expect a nice greeting. Please go to another location. Not worth it there....
