So, my family and I have had the “privilege” of getting pies and other items from your Lakewood Ranch location. The quality of your product is solely based on the guy making the pies and running the staff at that store. We’re living in tough times right now. Unprecedented many would say. I have family in Massachusetts, and New Jersey. I know there’s been countless businesses that have been ruined by this pandemic and lockdowns. The people working for you at the moment have been phenomenal. We spend probably hundreds of dollars per month on your product. I hope that you appreciate the staff that you have in place right now, because they are unbelievable with their customer service. In a time where is easy to blame the supply chain or short staff, your employees (at least at the Lakewood Ranch location) have decided to push through that and not use it as an excuse. Instead they have decided to use it as an example for what good customer service and good employees look like. My hat is off to all of them. I can’t remember the last time I walked into a pizzeria and somebody called me by my name when I walked in. In a time where good work is hard to find, please appreciate these people because they are the backbone of your entire business. I hope that you acknowledge your staff after this Email, or even read this to them, They have done a phenomenal job every single time I’ve walked into your establishment. ALL of them are a “Beacon” for what any business owner would dream of. I don’t mean to overdo it, but we have been to many restaurants and ordered food from many places. It is not the same anywhere else. I’d recommend that location, MORE IMPORTANTLY that staff anywhere I could. Hang onto them, because any restaurant would be grateful to have...
Read moreI’m very upset at your establishment currently. I came in and spent $81 on two pizzas and some pasta (including a 25% tip). I could have taken my business anywhere else. THERE ARE LOTS OF PIZZA PLACES IN SARASOTA! I try my best to support local business instead of going to major chains. I dine in here on occasion. More than a couple times a year. I also choose to get takeout frequently because I love the Alfredo. This is the FOURTH time I have had my takeout order messed up from this location. The past three times my chicken on my pasta was either BURNT or missing. This to the point I literally stopped ordering chicken on my pasta. I gave your business grace & kept returning, regardless of the countless mess ups. Tonight may be the last straw for me. I asked for extra cheese on my side salad. I repeated myself multiple times to the gentleman that took my order. I get home and surprise, surprise, NO CHEESE on my salad. NO PARMESAN OR CRUSHED RED PEPPER FOR THE PIZZA. This is incredibly irritating. It may sound like a small issue, but it is the repeated lack of customer service that upsets me. I call up there. I was polite, yet maybe stern about my discontent. Instead of offering to fix my order, the girl on the phone speaks to the manager. I hear him yell in the background that he’s “too busy to talk to me and I can call back tomorrow.” I find this behavior from a manager very unprofessional. Coming from someone in the food industry, this is just simply not how you treat a customer who works very hard to support your establishment. I will note that my food was tasty. Supreme pizza was about a 5/10. Cheese was a perfect 10. Alfredo was a perfect 10. Salad, I’m going to...
Read moreI’ve been in the food service industry for well over 45 years. If you follow my reviews you will see that I am fair and honest. I give both five star reviews and regrettably on occasion I will post a single star review depending upon just how poor the restaurant or business is.
Sadly I must say that when I request an Italian sausage hero with “heavy sauce and heavy roasted peppers” and get charged accordingly for the extras it would be nice to receive them. Better yet, I don’t think it’s asking too much to get a sandwich that is actually cooked and not cold and undercooked in the middle of the sausage. This product has definitely been microwaved and then dropped on the grill for appearance but no one seems to have checked the actual temperature before cutting it in half to make the bun to appear full.
I would understand if there was a line out the door and the cooks behind the line had 20 tickets waiting to fill but, this was not the case at all. One guy was making a pepperoni pizza and another guy walked out to the dining room looking for scissors to open the cannoli filling that was obviously not homemade and after he did find the dirty looking scissors and cut open the bag of filling he proceeded to fill the frozen shells that were coming out of an industrial food service box without even stopping to wash his hands.
Don’t be misguided by the positive reviews on here friends. Look at the negative comments as well. This place appears to be anything close to sanitary. The preparation of food without handwashing scares me. You have to ask what other corners are being cut or laziness is happening behind the scenes ? This is certainly the last ?15.95 they will...
