I’m so disappointed in this place. My boyfriends food (pan fried seafood noodles) was crunchy and the “seafood” was in a container that looked like week old vomit. Definitely not even recognizable as seafood. I took it back and asked the gentleman if he would even eat it and he stuck his hand in the food and said “yes it would be his lunch”. I’ve worked in nice restaurants all my life and I’ve never seen anything like this before. I wish my boyfriend had tried his sampler appetizer before I had to drive up there because the rib was def not cow or even over cooked pork. Nothing we ordered tasted good or was even appealing looking. Not sure what happened to this place but we will never order from them again. I even showed the guy a picture of what the meal was suppose to look like and he still argued that their food was correct. They cooked the shrimp with the whole body intact as well, not peeled. Will for sure choose a different place next order. Not worth the...
Read moreI love Orange chicken with rice. I'm used to it tasting like orange. They way they do it here it tastes like General Tso spicy chicken. I do to-Go. The rice was not good at all, that you have to put something on it. I'm used to the one on 10th St and 41, where the to go's of rice and Orange chicken or noodles and shrimp are $8 something each, with egg roll included. Even little pieces of Orange find are in the sauce. In this place, if I wanted noodle and shrimp, it would've been $12 each instead of the $10 for the rice. Soup is included in your meal here at Wen's, but when I said instead of soup just add more rice, and they charge 75cents extra. I'm not happy with Wen's because of the no-taste rice, "orange" chicken, and higher prices. The egg roll and egg drop...
Read moreFirst time in here. I'm not impressed. My order of Kung Pao chicken was requested as extra spicy, it was received as mild enough for an infant. I'd also like to find out who's in charge of cutting the ingredients. The chicken pieces are were about the size of large peas while the bell pepper was apparently cut in simple quarters that couldn't even hope to get in my big mouth. The flavor was good, the fried rice was hot and a good quantity of it. The egg roll was one of the best I've ever had. The restaurant was rather warm, too. We were the only ones in there save the two working and a child eating & watching videos on a tablet. I'm glad we got ours to go, I was sweating when I came in, I was still sweating when I left 10...
