Rendezvous Lounge — Restaurant in Sarasota

It's a dive bar that shares a plaza with a liquor store and a coin laundry mat. The only things missing are a vape shop and an "Arcade". It took about 15 minutes to get acknowledged at the bar. I wanted a draft beer but the keg was out. I ordered whiskey which is measured out to the 10th of a drop by some gooned up electronic pouring device that must have come from Canada. They serve food in a smoking bar, not sure how they get past that regulation. They have 3 7ft Diamond tables in there that they don't have adequate room for. 3 times in 3 racks an obstruction prevented me from taking a proper shot. If there is a worse dive bar in Sarasota I hope I...

Good bar, nice crowd, but if your not a regular, good luck getting a drink or cashing out. I'm talking 25-30 minutes after your drink is done and several attempts to get bartenders attention. Twice I actually ordered with the bartender, and was never served, then another 35 minutes to cash out after asking for a third time. Stopped going here for exactly the same reason 3 years ago, absolutely nothing has changed.

Update: My girlfriend needed to use the Laundromat next door last Sunday. I went in to have a drink, the bar was busy and the service was prompt and friendly this time. I guess it comes down to the bartender working...

Extremely friendly local service. They have value if that's what your looking for example I picked up a real good bottle of vodka 1.75 for about 17 bucks that drank like something two to three times that. Also if you need it they have the high end stuff but you will pay a slight premium for quick local shopping on things like Soda and mixers. Again though the service is super friendly and they take all credit cards as well as providing full lottery services. Other pluses are they have Cigar City beer and they also carry air plane...
