Looking at all the other reviews - I seem to be in the minority..... but there isn't anything great about this place. I've now been 3 times so I've been able to try everything - and I can't see any reason to return.
Their icecream isn't anything special. There are icecream shops less than 5 minutes away from this place that have better nice cream.
Their Donuts are a "one size fits all" - they use the same base donut and just add toppings, and its not a good base donut. Its a thick bready doughnut that many times wasn't fully cooked and had an awful crumb.
The shakes weren't bad - but again, you can find cheaper and better less than 5 minutes away.
Now their claim to fame is this donut IceCream sandwhich thing. Well I already said the donuts are just bready, the icecream isnt anything amazing. Mushing these together does nothing but make a huge mess. You pick up the warm donut and the ice-cream is already leaking out. Two bits in and all the icecream has slipped out onto the tray, so you gotta go get a spoon.
Yeah, nothing here is worth while.
Also the layout is just bad. Either that or they need to take a different approach to how they're taking orders / etc. Having all the donuts at the front and the payment at the back is odd. And then walking all the way down to the end to pay and then they have to sit instead of watching them make it. It should be walk in - take the order, then have them pay as you hand it to them. Like every other icecream shop in existence.
Again - everyone else raves about this place - but I don't think its anything special. Maybe...
Read moreDon't get me wrong it's a cute shop and all...we came there yesterday (9/13) around 3:30 and the employee was nice when we were ordering, however she seemed to be bored out of her mind, sitting at the register, when we walked in and while waiting for us to order (she didnt approach us or make any recommendations until we specifically asked for recommendations). Although the service wasn't bad... it sure wasn't amazing. The milkshake and the icecream inside the donuts was good, but the donut itself was not great. The smores smashed donut did not taste like smores...at all, but the kinder bar one was decent. For the price ($10 for a 16oz milkshake with a small donut on top, and $10 for their icecream donuts with some drizzle and oreo dust on top) it was definitely not worth it. If you are looking for a unique icecream experience I would recommend Sweet Rolled Tacos. Yonuts wasn't a bad experience, it just wasn't at all impressive. If the employee was more energetic (and didn't seem like she was waiting to go home) it probably would...

Yonutz is worth a try! The smashed donuts are a unique treat and a must-try if youâre not sure what to get. We tried the Biscoff Cookie donut (loved it), and a simply smashed with cookie dough ice cream. I wouldnât get the simple one again, but if youâre looking for something that doesnât have all the toppings and such itâs perfect. The donuts are average on their own, but when you fill it with ice cream and yummy toppings itâs worthwhile.
Great for a quick treat if youâre craving something sweet thatâs not a cookie or soda. They were pretty busy when we went so it seems to be a popular place for a date night or youth activities. The branding is super cute and theyâve got a neon wall thatâs perfect for a quick ice cream selfie. đŤśđź
Overall, itâs a memorable place that puts a creative twist on classic sweets. A solid 4 starsâdefinitely...
