I keep giving this location a try every couple months or so on my way to work (weekday mornings). Every time my drink tastes awful. I get a mint condition mocha with milk chocolate. It’s always borderline cold and tastes like it has chemicals in it. I don’t know what’s going on here. I’ve been to caribou locations all over the twin cities and never had such an awful drink so consistently. Either they’re using their own recipe or something is wrong with the water? Based on other reviews, and the fact there’s never a line here, seems I’m not the only one.
Update: Tried this location again last Sunday, 9/1/24. Ordered two medium coolers in the drive thru. Got to the window and the employee didn’t verify my order, only held the card reader out for me. After I paid he proceeded to offer us two hot beverages. I told him we ordered two coolers. So he then offered me two coolers that were not the correct ones. So I told him my order and he finally found the correct drinks. We had already waited a while and I didn’t want to hold up the line so we drove off. Later I checked my bank account and found I was charged $25. Is that the cost of 4 medium beverages? So I went back at the end of the day to dispute my order, thinking they’d be able to verify based on the fact that I check in with the app when I go through the drive thru. Park in the order ahead designated spot and walk up to counter. Order was ready very fast as I live just down the street. I selected 2 different flavor shots in my XL latte. I typically try after I get home so I don’t get that everlasting tongue burn. Zero flavor at all, and not even luke warm. Read moreThis location is sub-par to any Caribou coffee I’ve ever been to. Last week I stopped in the drive thru for a dark roast coffee with half and half…they served it cold! I parked and walked up to the window where they were happy to fix the issue so I felt to need to leave a review, however today I order the same dark roast with half and half and am told they only have light roast - served lukewarm this time.
