It's not all bad...see my updated review below.
Original Review: Signs on the dining room doors state that the dining room closes at 9:00 PM. At 7:58 PM, I entered the dining room and was met with odd, uncomfortable looks from three separate restaurant staff members (one of whom was attempting to lock the door on the opposite side of the dining room). I asked the person who appeared to be in charge if the dining room was still available for dining. He hesitated then stated that it was available, but that the store would be "short-staffed", that the cashier would be leaving, and that the staff would be cleaning the dining area while I was eating. Always up for a challenge, I chose to stay and eat... While dining, multiple staff members in the food preparation area were swearing about a customer in the drive-thru ordering less than a meal (presumably, indicating that they were cheap) and one staff member was eating over the food preparation counter surface. I don't know how the food tasted because I ate quickly to avoid being a bother. No one came out and cleaned the dining area while I was there, though.
Updated Review (12/11/18): Today, I visited this Wendy's again and I was impressed with the difference in my experiences (compared to my previous visit). The person who appeared to be in charge noticed me at the counter almost immediately and called a cashier to the register. The cashier, Annie, was polite and attentive. She took my order for food and, when she noticed that I had only ordered food (but no drink to accompany it), she offered a cup of water. I'm sure she could have upsold me with a drink, but I think she recognized that I was ordering a "cheap meal" and went with the most likely option. Read moreCustomer service is not great here. Came at 9:41. There was about 3 cars ahead of me and one behind me. There were three employees working from what I have saw. You can only order at the second window. Every couple minutes one of the employees would go to the first window to see how many cars are in line. By the time I pull up it was 9:57 and one of the employees tell me “Ma’am we close at 9:55.” I said “No, you close at 10” and he said “No we close at 9:55.” I said “No you close at 10. If you close at 9:55 then you should change your hours to 9:55.”
To save time on you could have had one of the employees go to the first window and tell me you guys are close instead of having me and the car behind wait in line for no reason.
I understand we came late and it is annoying. I have worked in the food industry and trust me it is annoying when people show up a couple minutes before closing. But we still took their order.
If your employees really want say they close at 9:55 without lying then you should change your closing...
Read moreThe food is standard Wendy’s food but particular staff at this location have been consistently rude. The last time I stopped in was for multiple mobile orders (mine and my friends). The person at the speaker box said they can’t hand two orders out the window and I’d need to come in. When I questioned why, he stopped talking to me entirely. I should have just left but I did pull over and go in. He was very confrontational when I went in. He said I was trying to take advantage of multiple deals or something to that effect. He also said that I created multiple accounts to take advantage of their deals. I told him to look at the receipts and the different payment methods. Would anyone care that much to save 50 cents to make multiple accounts under different users and then use different payment types under different names?
