Arby's — Restaurant in Savannah

I don't rarely even take the time to give a review about a place but I feel this place deserves one. I have a pretty good sense about people and situations in my opinion and it has served me well over the years. The woman that took my order in the drive through was upset because the manager wasn't doing anything except sitting in the office doing lord knows what. That's an opinion I deduced when after the food I was given was not what I ordered(which we had previously agreed upon), so I went into the lobby to correct my order. My mistake. I walked into the lobby where the manager greeted me and said we will make it for you real quick, I'm coming for you. I sat there for 20 minutes waiting on them to trade me two beefncheddars for two gyros. They made a gyro and sent it out the drive thru while I sat there patiently. The whole time I had to listen to how the woman that works the drive thru has a bad attitude out of the corner of my ear. I'm a very cordial and polite person in public, trust me I'm not responsible for her bad attitude.I didn't see the manager again until I asked the guy taking out the trash if anybody could help me get my money back so I could leave. I think he was the only competent person in the place. He got the manager for me right away. Apparently she was away on something more important than her job. I say get rid of the lot of them and let the guy taking out the trash decide who runs the place. I think his iq was higher than the four other people that worked there combined. The chef might be okay never got a good look at him. He definitely didn't hasten to make my gyros. The whole crew even stepped out for a smoke or whatever they were doing for 5 minutes while I was in there. This was at 1pm by the way. I guess everyone knows to...

5 Stars. 18 Jul ‘24 2:40 online order for pickup. Two roast beef, large crinkle fries, potato cakes, all for $8.76. The food was hot and delicious and ready for pickup when I got there. The people working today were very busy but friendly and professional at the same time.

1Star. 14 Apr ‘24 changing my 5 star review from 3 months ago to 1 star today. Placed online order and was there within 5 minutes to pickup as I was already on the way. Young girl at counter was very nice but old man with gray in beard was an a$$. Opened my bag at counter to make sure everything was there. No Arby’s sauce and no sauce for cheese sticks. Asked the young girl for sauce and she went to get it. Sweet girl. The old man however folded his arms, leaned back, and in a snarky voice asked “what kind of sauce you want”? I told him but he just stared at me. The young girl was back by then. Opened sandwich in car and it was ice cold. Cheese sticks were cold like they were not even cooked. That old man looked out of place at the counter and definitely should not be allowed near customers.

Old review from 3 months earlier… 5 stars! Best roast beef sandwich in a long time, good and hot curly fries. Hard working very kind...

I went to Arby's on hwy 80 today. Ordered beef and cheddar and a few other things. I asked for extra Arby's sauce. I had to park in the parking lot to wait for them to bring it to me. That wasn't a problem since they are under staffed. When the lady brought my order to me I asked if there was extra sauce in the bag. As she was walking away she grunted(and I do mean grunted) "it's in the bag" really bad attitude. Got home. Surprise, no sauce in the bag. In addition to that, the beef was really salty. This is why I don't like drive thru. BUT, they close their dining room in the evening, so there was no choice. I probably won't be going back there.im changing my review today. I went back to Arby's because, well, I love Arby's. Unfortunately, there is only one near me. I ordered jalapeno poppers and classic beef and cheddar. I explicitly asked them to make sure there was Arby's sauce and bronco sauce in the bag. No joy. In fact, when I got home I discovered there was NO sauce at all on my sandwich! So I ate a dry sandwich. If I could give a 0 stars, I would. Guess if I want Arby's again, I'll have to find one...
