**To anyone in the Savannah area looking to use them for catering!!! DON'T call corporate trying to set up an event Like it forces you!! Just call the store closest to you, and if you want delivery, read the fine print (it's not that fine). It says within 10 miles, easy enough, so use common sense, look at a map, and call that store. I received nothing but a run around and chasing people down trying to get answers from corporate and they would never call me back. Then when I called back trying to officially book the event, I was told, oh sorry, we are moving offices. As a patron, and someone from another company trying to coordinate an event, not my problem. If you want business, find a way to move that will not drastically effect customers trying to spend a few thousand dollars with your company, don't use it as a crutch. It took me almost a week spread out between two physical weeks to get a hold of someone to actually book the event after finally getting a hold of someone to give me answers to questions I had. Useless. I don't chase down businesses anymore, so lucky for them I wanted to use Dickey's, and I stuck with it. Once I finally was able to speak to the store owner, it was a BREEEEZE. Sooo NICE, and more importantly, capable. Ray Dubois is the store owner I dealt with. I was trying to be respectful, and follow the protocols and policies in the email from corporate about the quote, and calling them first, and waiting for them to give to the store, and payment, and blah, blah, blah, but I can assure you, it will not happen again. Next time I book with them, I'll be calling Ray.
*I gave the stores locally 5 stars still because their corporate for the entire company is NOT them, mass punishment does nothing for anyone. He didn't even know about all the run around until my info was finally handed off to his store for the event. (Order#** 12 piece Ribs - $35.51) I arrived to find the store closed despite the hours posted online. I called the number provided on the website. An answering service instructed me to phone during office hours on Monday. On Monday, June 6th I spoke with Heather who reported that she would consult her manager, * **, for resolution. I called again Thursday, Heather assured me it would be handled as she would speak with the manager who would be in the office later in the day. She promised to call me back with resolution. I never received a return call. On Wednesday, 6/15/2022 I called Heather again. She then instructed me to call corporate but could not provide the number. I called the corporate number I found online. After a significant hold time for customer service, a very static laced recording eventually instructed me to leave my name and number for a return call. Read moreMy fiancé and I visited this restaurant of Sunday July 4th, 2021. As we entered the establishment, WE WERE NOT GREETED, or even acknowledged by staff. Upon entering, I couldn't help but notice the uncleanliness and trash debris scattered throughout the restaurant. We make our way over to the menu that's posted on the wall, to the right of the entrance, as we're looking over the menu, and deciding on what we each would like to try (being it was our first visit to this particular restaurant). As we are deciding, we ask a few questions amongst ourselves, then I approached the counter to ask a question pertaining to the menu, and was given a nonchalant response. So we proceeded to order our food, the Asian employee, who prepared our order was slamming our food onto the tray sitting in the counter, as if he was preparing the food for a animal, I noticed a few flies, flying around the mostly uncovered food.
