Happy Vacation to me! After spending a wonderful morning on the water with my family, we decide to order some pizza to cap off the day! All was well until Kim picked up the phone. Now, I will give it to her, she took our order with a pleasant tone. We received an email confirmation that our order was placed and then the little food tracker began! Now keep in mind the email confirmation did say there was a 15-25 min delivery window, this will become prudent in due time. So the dominos tracker had the pizza prepped, popped in the oven and checked again by Kim in a reasonable time. So now all my hungry family had to do was wait 15/25 mins for delivery, right? No! Wrong!
Over a hour later, my wife calls dominos to ask for a update on our pizza order as it was checked and ready for delivery well over a hour ago, and what happens is she gets hung up on. That was nice of them, so we call back and get Kim back on the phone only to hear the first of many excuses about the quality of our service, Kim decides to tell us that her delivery girl is still out with a previous order and we were next.
Ok, I get it, it's just before a holiday, you're busy, but as a manager would you not think to beef up your staff? I guess forward thinking is a concept lost to this specific dominos. So almost 2 hours after we order a very pleasant delivery lady shoes up with our food. Now could you believe it, our food was cold?! Who knew a 90 min delivery would result in cold food?!
So in addition to the cold pizza, our order was actually wrong and several of our items didn't even make it! So, my wife calls Kim again to reconcile the issue and she gets hung up on again!! At this point I am a little testy, so I decide to call back to have a discussion with Kim. Could you believe it, the excuses started rolling in on how our food was wrong, cold, the email confirmation of delivery time was not a dominos policy despite it being in their email, and that it was not her problem!
To hell with that! Kim then decides she will credit us a very small part of our meal, mostly consisting of the food that didn't show up, not the cold pizza or the other issues, so she takes my credit card number again to re ring up the bill. At this point I thought we were scott free and that I would never have to deal with this frustration again!
Low and behold I was wrong again, the following day, I decide to check my credit card statement and I have not 1, not 2, but 3, charges from dominos for our incorrect, cold, half missing meal!
What a fun experience, I'd like to thank you dominos and Kim for the excellent service, quality, and competence! I look forward to trying other pizza places next time we are...
Read moreDomino's asst manager Brandi might be the most professional person I have ever met, and let me explain why: I knew the risk of ordering any delivery within 30 min of closing time, and if you've ever worked in the service industry, you know this cardinal rule as it is a sign of respect to the workers who close up shop. I place my order online, and moments later the nicest voice informs me that their delivery person is out, and asked if I would be willing to pick it up, and they'd even throw in a soda. Needing the break from my computer screen, a ride in my convertible in the 72° night air with my pit bully (and his buddy Thom Yorkey) was the least I could do for this delicious pasta I intended to devour. When I arrive, Brandi is the only one there and she is surprisingly calm after the events that took place a mere 15 minutes prior to my arrival. When a young lady who was OVER 9 months pregnant received the very same phone call that I had, asking if I would be willing to pick up my order, this mother to be lost it. She went on to screaming that her credit card would be charged and the urgency of correcting this financial error was expected that night. When Brandi finally hung up with this woman, she was quickly approached at the store entrance. There was no doubt the aggressive body language momma bear was throwing out, but Brandi kept her cool. Even when this costumer AND her man continue to ring the (obnoxiously) loud buzzer at the front door for 15 straight minutes. Brandi continued with the MANY jobs she was taking on (due to lack of staff) without wavering, showing fear, or acknowledging this woman's perhaps justified but potentially violent behavior. So, I hope Brandi gets the recognition she deserves for being an ideal Domino's representative......
Read morePlaced an order onlinea few weeks ago for delivery. Estimated delivery time was an hour and a half. Order was placed at 9pm. Our pizza arrived at 1225 am. Obviously I called in between those two times to figure out what was taking so long. I was told they only had one delivery driver working that night and everything was delayed because of it. Was not happy with the service and the pizza was god awful. Decided to give them another try tonight figuring every business has a bad day and it would be better. Placed an order for delivery online at 1030pm. Estimated delivery time was 1130pm. The store manager called at 1115pm to let me know that our delivery time was going to be 2 HOURS longer than the original estimate. He rudely suggested I come pick it up because he was short drivers. I told him the website said it woud be delivered by 1130pm. He said and I quote " you can't go by what the website says". So I come up there to pick up my order and was told I would not be refunded the delivery fee. EVEN THOUGH MY PIZZA WAS NOT DELIVERED DUE TO THIER MANAGERIAL INCOMPETENCE! My card had already been charged so I begrudgingly took my food anyway. Manager did not apologize, offer a discount, or do anything to remedy the situation. He only suggested we should have just canceled our order. Absolute worst customer service I have ever seen!!! I will never do business with dominoes ever again.
Update! Upon arriving home I realized that neither of the subs I ordered were what I received. I hardly ever leave reviews or sweat small mistakes in the food industry as I used to work in it. However this is atrocious, I feel like I have been literally robbed. I will be calling their corporate office first thing in...
