Sushi Hana — Restaurant in Savannah

My wife and I had dinner at Sushi Hana and absolutely loved it! We started with the fried calamari appetizer (tempura style) — it was cooked perfectly, crispy, and packed with flavor. For mains, I ordered the Philly Roll and Snow Beauty Roll, and both were fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, and I was thrilled they offered gluten-free soy sauce (something I almost never find). My wife ordered the Chicken Katsu and Beef Negimaki Bento Box and couldn’t stop raving about it — she especially loved the miso soup and the light, flavorful breading on the chicken.

Our server, Kailey, was fantastic! She was super friendly, helpful in explaining the menu, and checked in with us multiple times. She made us laugh and kept the experience fun while making sure we had everything we needed. The food came out in under 10 minutes, which was impressive.

The atmosphere around 8:30 pm was relaxed with a cozy dinner vibe. The bar wasn’t open yet, and it seems like the restaurant is still getting fully set up, but that didn’t take away from how great the evening was. We’ll definitely be back — especially once the bar is up and running.

Overall, Sushi Hana gets a solid 5/5 from us. Delicious food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming experience. Highly recommend! And I’m so excited to see a new place like this flourish on...

The place looks absolutely amazing, there are still some signs of a fresh opening but it looks great! To be fair, our waitress was so nice, and so personable but she was really exhausted and unfortunately, we paid the price for it. I want to go back and try again on another night when she is fully rested! The food presentation was beautiful! The sushi seemed like large portions and my sashimi...I don't t think it was fish... it was butter! It melted in your mouth! It was so awesome! I loved the ginger salad but there was a few wilted leaves. I know the gyoza and the chicken katsu I ordered could have e been way better... Our waitress had some inquisitive customers that kept her too long with them, it kept her from getting our meals i think? Somebody should have grabbed our dinner and brought it out while it was still warm! I was very disappointed. I never got a water refill so I scarfed down my wifes! We did leave a little thirsty. Overall, i think it has extremely great potential. I hope we hit it on an off night. I still gave it 5 stars because I think it will...

Loved that they had a baby changing table In the restroom. The vegetable soup was bland. The waitress hayden said she prepared the miso soup by adding hot water. She also said stay away from the asparagus rolls because they use the stalk and root.The gyozas came pre packaged and tasted like the plastic they pulled them from. The yakisoba was not traditional yakisoba. Probably because the owners are mandarin and not Japanese. But running a Japanese joint........... Somehow between ordering all the veggie items off the menu and stating we were vegan didnt translate because eel sauce was put onto our vegetable rolls. Hayden tried to say "eel sauce is really teriyaki sauce" I pray she doesnt tell anyone else this lie as eel sauce contains fish oil and that lie could be costly for a restaurant just opening. Between hearing all Ms. Haydens personal business of her cussing and fussing from our table and the food, This was a disaster. Won't return...
