Normally I love chick-fil-a. Whenever I'm feeling down I go to one because cheerful people sometimes make me feel better. This location however is subpart to the Skidaway location. I over heard a manager or lead snap at the two employees who were taking orders at the cars. The young girl who assisted me was very sweet and cheerful I watched the two girls get orders for every car before they began to chat and giggle. It was refreshing. They were still watching the cars. The lead/manager (whoever it was) snapped at them, "take orders first, giggle later". That was rude. Chick-fil-a is all about being nice and cheerful to each other.
Then earlier I went to order the young girl who took my order did not smile, had a tone, and sounded short. I started my order and accidentally said Pepsi instead of coke for my drink and she said kinda snarky, "we offer coke products so we don't have Pepsi" I nodded but she still said, "is that ok?" I realized she wasnt looking at me. Before I finish my order she tells me my total. I had more I wanted to order but in my confusion I said, "oh.... Okay..." I grab my wallet and hold my card out for her she asks, "cash or card?" Again not looking at me. I don't fully blame the sound brunette because I've had that fast food job. But huney if you're miserable at a chick-fil-a of all possible fast food joints then quit.
This location is by far the worst in Savannah between the attitudes and not, in my opinion, living up to chick-fil-a standards. If you're having a good day and want it dampened go here, if you're having a bad day and want to make it worse go here. Otherwise go to one of the other two in town. I...
Read moreThis is your run of the mill Chic-fil-A. You get the occasional cannibal coming thinking it's a "Chicks Filleted". They always leave peacefully. There is a area for the Munchkins. There are also chicken protesters at this location from time to time. They are peaceful, except for that one time when a human and a chicken got into an argument about whether the chicken or the egg came first. "Does a chicken have lips?", one chicken allegedly said. Things went downhill after that. There were feathers everywhere! Many chickens crossed the road to fight the man that day. The Savannah police had to fire tear gas to break up the rioting mob of angry chickens. It ended when a negotiator convinced the chickens to agree to disagree. Many eggs were broken...no omelets were made. Since then there has been an uneasy leave between the hungry human customers and the chickens. Several Bovine rights organizations have stepped in to assist the store. They called bull on the chicken' s point of view. Private contractor cow mercenaries can be seen patrolling the grounds around the Chic-fil-A. If something doesn't happen to resolve the human-poultry tensions this could spread to neighboring restaurants. There are lots of cute gals working here. When you step inside the restaurant you may feel like the only rooster in the hen house (if you're a dude. A girl would feel at home clucking away with the other hens).
It's a decent place to eat. Don't let it's history scare you away. Eat chicken and don't give a cluck what...
Read moreI can’t even believe I’m about to leave this kind of review for Chick-Fil-A … I was a customer at the Abercorn location last night on my way to work and had the WORST experience ever. First of all I understand that raising wages sometimes brings the undesirable characters in the form of staff .. in which case you all have succeeded by hiring some of the most ignorant young ladies I have ever witnessed now working in your drive through window. I watched the young lady walk to my car with my order but had the wrong name .. she then proceeded to hand my food to the SUV next to me. After waiting another 15 minutes the couple in the SUV wave at me to roll my window down and say they believe they have my order .. which they did. As I get out of my car the same young lady is now walking another poor customers order out and I stop and say excuse me you have given my order to the wrong car I need this remade … this smart mouthed girl looks at me and says “ I dk who did that but it wasn't me “ and walks off. First of all I watched her do it .. secondly since when did Chick-FilA staff speak to their customers this way? !! I spend a lot of money there almost daily !! Needless to say I will find somewhere else to order a salad. Chick Fil A management needs to look at all these recent new hires whom can’t read a receipt, have to now park cars because they can’t get it together and have poor customer service skills and nasty attitudes like they work on the street down town selling something other than a chicken sandwich. I...
