The young ladies were very kind and sweet. They explained that my hair was too thin to achieve the look I wanted (knotless), so they did a great job of making it look full with the small box braids. The problem is that I asked them to make the braids bigger in the middle because I don't like heavy or big hair. I've learned that I should bring the hair I like because the Xpressions would have been better quality. I ended up coming home and taking some out of the middle so that I could put my hair in a ponytail. I expressed to the young ladies numerous times not to put so much hair in my head because it's too hot to wear down, and I was only going to wear it up. I could have gotten micros because even those didn't take 8 hours when I've had them. I will go back, but I will be monitoring them when they get to the middle. For $200 I want what I want! Very nice ladies , they really want you to be comfortable , I went in late Wednesday for micros , which was probably my mistake. like most places the front braids are small & the back are big I paid extra to have the same size all over , which is disappointing because I could have just paid the regular price. Overall I would go back for other styles because they are nice ... not micros because u def won't get what U pay for....The reason for the 2 stars is " I WAS VERY VERY SPECIFIC " so disappointed for that reason. the braids just not small the way "I like them" my Godmother who is 80 said they didn't look nice. My Second time visiting the business for service. FIrst time i got my hair done, I was very pleased, the young Lady understood the assignment. Second time iwas very displeased, not to mention i was charged 20 dollars more but the braids were bigger and bulky. NOT to mentiin i have a few bald spots in the front tagt were showing. IF thet are professional braiders that should have been covered as the young lady that did my hair the first time was able to accomplish. The braiders did say we can fix it come bacj in three days and we can fill in the spots. That should have been done the first time. I'm tender headed and dont want to go through that process so soon. My suggestion is when youget your hair done there get the name if the person who provides the service, because everyone does not braid the same...
