I loved how secluded this park was, but hated more things than others. The water spouts did not work and there was not enough sun to help dry up the muddy areas (which is almost everywhere), the parking situation was also pretty confusing since the place it tells you to arrive at is the area where they do not want you to park. There was no sign mentioning where to go for parking or that there is another entrance to the fenced in area. When you arrive it looks like the place is closed, especially with the no parking signs and gate chained up and locked. I think if the no parking area had a sign with a map showing people how to get to the parking area, that might help out a lot. Read moreThis place is beautiful but always empty. I guess that's great if you want to sit and enjoy nature, but if you want to meet other dogs then it's better to head to Hearty Pines. This place has nice features like fresh water and wading pool, the playground is adjacent, very nice park and quiet neighborhood all around. Not much parking but since it's always empty there's never been a problem...
Read moreThe would be a great dog park but the fence is so low that if you have an average athletic dog they will jump the fence. It always floods with every rain storm, they do t ever come in to clear brush or maintain the park and they just closed down half of the parking so you are forced to go all the way around just to walk to the same place....
