Burger King — Restaurant in Saybrook

Menu prices were not correct!!!! Cashier confirmed 8 piece chicken tenders was 1.49 as per menu and only. 20 more than 4 piece. I was charged 1.99 for 8 piece chicken tenders. Asked why price on menu and receipt were different and if it could be corrected or how I would be compensated. Was told by manager on duty that they were aware prices on menu were not correct and they couldn't change the prices on menu appropriately-it was done by corporate. I asked again how they would make it right on my order and my friend's order as well. Manager said she couldn't do anything about it and wouldn't do anything about it. I persisted and pointed out that was poor customer service. She still said she wouldn't do anything about it. Not sure why she couldn't just offer us each a small drink or hand each of us .50 back or any other number of solutions.NOT ACCEPTABLE! food quality was poor too. We were on our way to a weekly gathering and each told several people there of our experience. Not stopping here again! .50 might not seem like much but how many other items on the menu have prices listed that are not correct....?...

Watched a customer, who stated that her order was wrong for the second time, return a burger over the counter in a bag. The cashier took the burger and handed it to a cook in the back. The cook slapped a piece of cheese on it, wrapped it back up, and handed it back to the cashier, who gave it to the customer. Questions: isn't that unhealthy? Who knows what may have been added to the sandwich, which made its way into the kitchen with all the other exposed food? Isn't that unsanitary? Shouldn't the burger have been thrown out and the customer given a fresh sandwich to insure the cleanliness of the kitchen? When I asked the cashier if that was a health violation she ignored me, then said they put cheese on the burger. Never risking my health at this place. Less than one star...

BTW, after waiting for my food, which was sitting there getting cold on the counter, I threw it my food in the parking lot and got back on the highway. As said, never risking my health at...

Only reason the list a star is because their soft drinks always tastes off as of the machine isn't properly maintained their food is pretty standard for burger king but I like when my food is made hot. Their breakfast is their specialty but as far as their lunch time it seems to be made lazily. When you get there chicken sandwiches it's always room temperature as if the patties were just sitting in the machine and not made from fresh I don't mind waiting for food that tastes good even though it's considered "fast food".

Fast food restaurants in Ashtabula typically have staff that do not love what they do and that are there just for a check. I work faster than past and I literally greeted every customer as if it was my own business. These people forget that our money is what pains their bills and they need to treat their job as such just going through the motions lazily is what does not make...
