I've been to this location a couple of times and you'd think I would have learned my lesson. Unfortunately, I prefer Starbucks over Dunkin and Wawa coffee. I wish I didn't when it comes to this location. This is right before the parkway entrance. The 1st time I went here I went when they had about 15 min left before closing. They ignored me at the drive-thru and the window. The door was locked. They were in there because I could see them, but I guess they didn't want to clean machines again or something because they blew me off even though there was time before they were actually closed. That should have been my lesson then that the service here is just not good. Today I ordered my mobile order. It said it would take 11-14 minutes. I had to stop for gas, so I went to Wawa 1st. I got to Starbucks 12 min after my order was placed. Went in and my sandwiches were ready and 1 drink. I had 2 more drinks to wait for. There was a woman and her daughter also waiting for a mobile order that arrived just before me. They were busy, but they also had plenty of people working. I waited and waited as they continued to move stickers over to the cold drink area and they kept doing orders of people that were not there yet , they were also mobile orders. Finally, a young man asked the woman who came in just before me what her name was and what she was waiting for. They questioned if she ordered through the app. She did and she did so 20 min ago. They found it and did it quickly for her. The young man finished hers up and glanced at me and then quickly looked away. So since he didn't want to ask me my name, I said excuse me and I told him I was missing 2 drinks from my order. He annoyingly looked over at the 2 tickets left to do and told me that they were there. At this point, I had been waiting just as long as the other lady. He then walked away without asking someone to do it or just doing it himself. It was rude and obnoxious. The time my order was placed is on that sticker, yet they kept working on other ones. I work in retail. I get it can be busy, but he should have turned and asked me what my name was as well. He had no one in line and I had been waiting just as long. The girl that ended doing my drinks was nice enough by telling me to have a good day, but the other girl with 2 strands of hair hanging on both sides of her face that she kept twirling around her fingers, gave me not-so-nice looks that were...
Read moreI must say, the baristas at the Starbucks Sayreville branch are incredible. Their level of customer service is simply unmatched. From the moment I became a customer, I have been astounded by their unwavering dedication and commitment to ensuring that we, the loyal customers of Starbucks, receive the highest quality coffee drinks and beverages.
Despite encountering numerous rude customers who only make their jobs more challenging, these baristas handle each situation with grace and professionalism. They never lose sight of the fact that they are hardworking individuals who must adhere to the policies set forth by the Starbucks organization. Their level of tolerance and patience is truly commendable, and it does not go unnoticed by me and others who deeply appreciate their efforts, even if we often forget to express it.

Read moreMy father and I have been coming to this location for years and I can say it’s improved mainly in its efficiency through the drive thru. I have seen many people go at the store and I can honestly honesty say that Steve, Caroline and Daisy make it memorable when I go through with my car. I always know I’m going to get my order fast when I see them.
Coming in when my mother mobile orders is the problem. It’s not always clean inside and some of the comments below aren't wrong theres this one girl who tend to yell at her staff some times when I come inside. I get that it’s not that much of an easy job but I rather go through the drive in than come inside. When I see either Emily or Steve or the guy with the tattoos behind the counter making drinks I feel sort of better. I don’t like going to any other starbucks around this area. But I have had one horrible experience at this starbucks, I wont name names with this one but she was just an odd lady and took forever to get everyone’s food done but she was laughing and talking. She didn’t even call out peoples names she just sat the food down. Other times she’s okay but it was mainly that one time. I never had a problem with my drinks, I enjoy Sayreville and I hope this Starbucks improves much more. Be prepared for the drive in line to be super long most days.
I also don’t like that I am unable to tip digital. Pass the payment over and people will tip more because we don’t always have cash. But other than that not a bad...
