I have been at dinner with wife and I definitely can't complain about food quality but I can say few things about service and tip that we left and main reason it's not food quality for 1star. Main reason for low rating is added additional tip to the card they charged and for service we got I think 18% of tip that we left it's more than enough.
Food was good and honestly no issues with that. Service is ok but not great as from entering this place we had total of 4 people serving us and I prefer one or max 2 people. Again personal preferences. Also while eating soon as we near to finish with one drink or plate looks like they short on plates or glasses as they are right away there to grab it and kind of pushy even we quite quickly finish our dinner and had private chat but feels like they are above you waiting to finish and constantly pushy. We had served by waitress, lady who cleaning, cooking guy who working behind countertop and finally driver or whatever his roles in this place but he came from parking lot as we could see him when he arrived and he drop food for us when was ready even we have waitress lady.
Now main reason I'm giving 1 star is that they added additional tip to final bill via square card processing device and I may not even catch it if is not my business card that are linked to my square device and automatically pop up on my phone while I was shocked by bill compared what I signed on receipt.
Very very unprofessional and rude charge.
Because of this issue and giving reasonable 18% tips I will never go back to this place again.
Guys just check your statement after you...
Read moreIf you haven't already check out this place, please do. Napoli is on it's way to ruining pizza for me. This coming from a Chicago guy (born and raised) who had SO many different quality levels of pizza at his fingertips. The place is delightfully unique with their own homemade preparations of everyone's everyday favorites.
Wood fired pizzas and wood fired everything else... done right and with SO much love. The pizza dough used by Napoli is some of the best I've had. There's a nice hint of salt in it that really gives it flavor. I can see having just a plain crust, drizzled with really good olive oil and sea salt as a perfect appetizer or even a meal on it's own (just give me a nice green salad and a glass of white wine!) . And for those of us who love olives and appetizers of mixed olives, give theirs a try! Their served hot from the over, not cooked, just heated through, drizzled with olive oil and lemon zest. They had a gnocchi appetizer the night we went. I've never had gnocchi that were so light and airy. Highly recommended if you go. One pizza is fine for two people or get two and have great left overs for the next day (like we did!). They've got a great selection of white and red pizzas and some great Italian wines to pair with them. This was my first time going. The Wife was lucky enough to experience it on her own a few weeks back when I was out of town. It was really neat for her to be recognized by the head chef and some of the staff. Again, another place I can't wait...
Read moreWent to this place on 7/22/2025 - let just say they need to definitely work on customer service , I know waitresses work hard however when we got there at 6:30pm we were seated in the side room , no one was in there which is fine , they brought water - with 3 ice cubes in the glass , so we asked for more glasses of ice , she brought 1 glass for 3 people ! It’s ice for goodness sake, ( she was the helper of the waitress) then the waitress came because the question I asked the helper she didn’t know answer . My question was is their free refill on pop , no there isn’t it’s in a bottle ? $3.50 for a bottle of pop , and $5.00 dollars for ice tea, we ordered 3 Diet Coke and the glass they brought it in was laughable -it was a small probably 6pm glass with 4 ices cubes , they have a fetish about giving ice ! Why just why is there not a machine !!! That’s insane ! Ordered 2 appetizers, sals with. Salad with goat cheese and beets, and the sausage and peppers with potatoes, the potatoes were so small and the sausage was not flavorful nor the dish itself ! ( I make this dish all the time and it’s not in a red gravy ) so the waitress helper came and brought the appetizers and just threw it in the table, if I could have recorded the whole time I was there you would be shocked - we ordered our dinner , lobster ravioli, gnocchi forno and linguini with marinara, honestly there was no OMG THIS IS FABULOUS- it was bland - especially for gravy...
