Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

I used to order from this location all the time because my son loves Pan Pizza but after my most recent experience I won't anymore. A couple of weeks ago I ordered pizza and apparently my number was listed incorrectly so the driver could not get a hold of me, even though I have a buzzer and previous drivers have always rang the buzzer. Not rocket science to ring a doorbell/buzzer. Pizza was returned and when I called they told me they could not re-deliver. I would have to re order or they could just refund. I accepted the refund. I did not get a refund after a week so I called. The manager Ron said they can't give refunds and wasn't sure why I was offered it, he ends up giving me a $40 dollars credit instead and sent me pictures for confirmation. TODAY I tried ordering pizza and there was only a credit for $20. I explained to Aaron the manager today and he did not even try to help me. His tone was as if he could care less or like he was high. I am going through the worst customer service over pizza I PAID FOR AND NEVER RECEIVED weeks ago!! I don't care for the credit or a refund at this point. Anyone who treats their customers like this won't get my business. Aaron is the worst manager and needs a lesson in customer...

Updated Review 4/29/2025 TRY THIS LOCATION! I want to preface that we stopped ordering Pizza Hut about 5 years ago as they always were “sold out”of pan pizza dough and there were closer and better pizzas in our neighborhood.

Then.. we ordered a pan pizza last night that ended up being THE BEST pizza hut pizza we’ve had in over 20 years!! Beef, jalepeno, mushrooms and onions were plentiful and nicely dispersed.

Whoever made our pizza here on the evening of 4/29/25 has a true pizza passion! We may start ordering here again if they keep making them like this!! Thanks a pan!! ———————————— We ordered the new Detroit style pizza. It was pretty good and tasted almost exact. Dough was fluffy, toppings are all the way to the edges ends are a little crusty (good). There was a lot of sauce but very tasty non acidic, subtly sweet with a hint of oregano which is how it’s served in Detroit. The crust was cooked but for Detroit style it needs to be a little more well done. Plentiful toppings and fresh mushroom and fresh onions! We've had issues ordering from this location before but this last incident was it. A few nights ago, my partner and I placed an order for delivery. Almost an hour and a half later, I call to figure out where the food was. The worker on the phone says, "Oh it didn't go through for delivery so we just didn't send it"....... I'm like fine I'll just pick it up. We both agree on this, we both say bye, and then I hang up. My partner calls and it's essentially the same thing. When I get there, the guy says because the order was rejected, it completely voided the order and so it would have to be put in again. I ask him if the money will be sent back to my account, he confidently says yes. At this point my partner and I have decided we don't want the food. She calls about the refund and he says, "There's nothing I can do for you now. If you guys didn't keep hanging up on me then you would know", or something along those lines. Like I said we've had issues before but this solidified never ordering here again. Also, the order not going through for delivery wouldn't completely void the order.
