Old Town Pizza Co — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

My mom and I just wanted some pizza. So I call and immediately when they pick up the person puts us on hold. When they get back and ask for the address, I told them it, and they asked for it again. I spelt it out for them, and they still didn't understand. My mom takes the phone and spells it, they don't understand. This goes on for like 5 minutes, they keep saying they got distracted. My mom asks for a new person to get on the phone, so she gets put on hold again. Its the same person again. Same thing again, can't get the address. Eventually another person gets on the phone, same thing. She spells the address, the person on the phone keeps saying they didn't hear it or they got distracted. Finally they get the address right. The address was not long, it was very short. We give basic instructions for the driver to go another way because we don't have doorbells. Also, we asked for a menu for next time and they don't have any. So we're waiting for the pizza now. Not a long wait, thankfully. The driver didn't follow the instructions or wasn't given them by the person on the phone, but either way followed them incorrectly. They finally go to the right place. Now the food itself, the pizza in my opinion was really good, so that made up for the painful calling experience a little. The garlic bread was disgusting. Overall, not worth it. I absolutely LOVE everything about this Old Town Pizza location! The staff is so nice and helpful every time I stop in for food, whether I'm grabbing just a slice for myself or enough pizza for a small army, they give you the same attention and kindness no matter what your order is. The food is AMAZING and unlike a lot of pizza places, they make sure every bite of their delicious pizza has the same amount of toppings. While their pizza is what we order the most, their other options on the menu are just as delicious- especially the garlic cheese bread! Even at their busiest times, there is not a long wait at all and they make sure your food is always hot whether you pick up your order or get it delivered. My family has been coming here ever since they opened and we will most definitely keep coming back as long as they are in business! Our family has only ordered for delivery up until now. When I was searching their street address I noticed a lack of helpful reviews. Their thin crust pizza is EXCELLENT! The plain cheese is good for those who don't like toppings; however, their Four Corners pizza is one of the best thin crust pizza's I have ever had (only one place is better, but they are located in downtown Chicago).
