The original location for this excellent, locally-owned coffee spot. Air-roasted coffee with amazing flavor that isnt bitter, burnt-tasting or too acidic. (If coffee upsets your stomach, their air-roasted blends may not--made it possible for me to regularly enjoy coffee again.) High quality Monin sauces and syrups without corn syrup or fillers (organic where they can get it). 4 diff kinds of alternative milks and a selection of sugar-free sweeteners and flavors. Keto-friendly. Non-gmo real fruit smoothies w/no added sugar or junk. Refreshers, Cold Brew, really good frappes (Cabin Coolers) and freshly-brewed Rishi Teas. A very cute coffee shop, very good prices. Drinks were okay tasting, food was okay, but what made it turn into a place I’ll never revisit, was the service. As it was our first time, we were a little confused with the windows. We waited at the first windows which was what we though we heard over the intercom, but no one came to the window so we thought, maybe we misheard, don’t want to hold up the people behind us, go to the second. The barista was clearly very annoyed by the confusion and explained how it’s an inconvenience and messes up their “whole flow” Now I get it, but it was an honest mistake, that sure didn’t need to be met with an attitude or tone of annoyance, especially when there was only one other car in the line. Their cappuccino is to die for! So strong and aromatic 💖I'd wish they worked longer hours during spring/summer evenings. Sometimes my family cannot make it on time for great cup of coffee after work. :(

Update as of 10/27/2023:

This week we purchased cappuccinos from this place 3 times..1 time it was good ,the other 2 times tasteless, no espresso in it, drinking milk only.. They became skimpy on flavor shots and espresso shots, so I even paid for extra espresso shots today, and it is still very bland drink ,,almost non existent coffee flavor.

Very big disappointment ,so I am giving up on Schererville Coffee Cabin location and do not recommend this store to anyone. Take your...
