Honestly, was really disappointed with our last visit. Me and two of my friends came here the other day, in which we each ordered ramen bowls. Our first friend had made it clear that we were dining in, and we received a timer for our order. Within 10 minutes, the first one of us who ordered and the last one of us who ordered (me) received our ramen. After 30 minutes had gone by, my friend (second person to order in our group) still not had received their food, so they politely asked if they could just receive a refund. When looking for the order, it was discovered that their order had been placed into a to-go box and had been sitting at the pick up table the entire time. We had clearly made it known we were dining in, we were even given a buzzer, so my friend had no idea that their order was going to be to-go. The girl was nice and explained it was not our fault, yet insisted that we just take the ramen because it was unlikely we would be able to receive a refund. Which was truthful, as the lady who I’m assuming was her boss stated “the ramen is already made” in a rude tone therefore we just accepted it and left. The ramen was cold and we had no way to heat it, and we just simply wanted the money back. The situation was definitely handled pretty unprofessional (coming from someone who has worked in customer food service for years) Additionally, the ramen that my other friend and I did eat tasted extremely bland and flavorless-a severe letdown for how pricey it was. The tea was good...
Read moreWriting this review after the second time eating here. The spicy tonkotsu ramen is amazing! Like I've eaten at quite a few ramen spots across the country and this one is up there on the list. The restaurant is very clean and I personally enjoy the music selection they play. The only complaint I have is that both times eating here the orders weren't taken and/or made correctly. We would ask for something such as ramen with no toppings except for pork but be served ramen with everything on it or ask for ramen to exclude a couple of its standard toppings but still be served it anyway. The first time even though the cashier was acknowledging everything being said when ordering the receipt didn't reflect what was said at all so we ended up having to hand pick everything out of our ramen because it couldn't get remade due to that (picking out corn is a pain btw). The second time the receipt reflected everything correctly but the ramen was still made wrong but we had a correct receipt and it was remade for us thankfully. It's just the frustration of having to correct the order and wait longer or be told to hand pick everything out of it is what killed the mood for us when eating here both times. Really wanting to love this spot and give it another chance though because the ramen tastes...
Read moreI've come here 10+ times and while it's never a great experience, it is the only good ramen place around and I don't mind the wait time or the confusion during covid, it's to be expected. You'd think now that they're open for dine in things would be better, but yikes. We placed an online order, which was suppose to be done in 5-15 minutes. We waited the 15 minutes before going in, and then went in and sat down to wait for the order to come up. After waiting inside an additional 20 minutes, we went to the counter to make sure the order was placed. They ignored us for a few minutes and then said, yeah that's been done, it's at the end of the counter. How we were suppose to just know that? The name was never called out and the order was left behind the employee part of the counter, no where near the designated online order pickup table. I used to rant and rave about this place, ramen, bubble tea, AND rolled ice cream, in indiana? Yeah, way too good to be true. No more recommendations. Shout out to that one girl last time who went out of her way to make sure to say hello, ask what we needed when we came in, and brought out our online order. Sorry to see you're the only person there taking pride...
