Langel's Pizza — Restaurant in Schererville

I have been eating at Langel's for years and grew up eating their pizza. I had the worst experience today and honestly not sure I ever want to go back. The schererville location advertises on online menu dining in (I usually go to the highland location). We had a toddler with us so went to the pizza side and asked if it was okay to sit and eat, they have tables in there. They said nobody ever eats in but we could. We ordered the pretzel bites and a large pizza. The pretzel bites came out barely warm and the beer cheese was cold with a bunch of uncooked bacon on it. I asked for a water and they said they didn't have any, they could ask the bar but would probably take a long time. When the waitress came back I said I would go ahead and get a pepsi and they said you have to pay for that, yeah I Know that's how it works. The pizza came out and the crust was thicker than I ever seen, there was barely any sausage on half of it and the pizza just had no flavor. We were clearly inconveniencing them by eating in and it showed throughout our entire experience. When we tried to ask for a knife and fork and another pop the lady turned around and walked away before we could even finish and she only heard the knife. This was a waste of $30 and I'm truly...

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. It was a Friday night and i ordered at the bar. I placed an order for 20 wings and a medium pepperoni pizza. Having worked in pizza and restaurants before an order like that takes maybe 15 minutes to prepare. We waited 40 until it was noticed to be in the window and another 10 for it to finally be brought to the bar. The pizza itself had the most watery sauce I've had with a crust that wet cardboard would be jealous of. The cheese felt like plastic and would slide right off. And if you told me it was a cheese pizza, i would believe you because the pepperoni had little to no flavor. Gave up on the pizza after 2 slices. Then the wings... I felt the BBQ wings sauce worked better as a pizza sauce because it tasted almost like ketchup. The wings seem to come from a goose since they're so large and the Buffalo sauce was not much better being also very watery. I was excited to try the food and was highly disappointed to the point I gave the food away and went to white castle instead... at least...

CHRIS VICKERY - the only RODENT problem was handled when you were FIRED for STEALING!! Caught on your first week and begged to stay after the fact bc of how much you loved the place and staff!!

Encase you didn't know, Langels is KNOWN for our FAMILY friendly environment/atmosphere. Most customers have been ordering from us since day 1, so for you to even attempt to make false slandering reviews is really mind blowing!! You really should be THANKFUL they didn't press charges on you!!
