This is your next neighborhood bar! If you're looking for a modern day Cheers for your go to bar on the way home from work, this is it. They often have live music, at least four nights a week. If you prefer TVs for your sports entertainment that's happening as well, indoors and outside on the spacious patio. Schertz Creek offers a wood top wrap around bar and quality cocktails, like a smoked old fashioned or chilled manhattan, made by Tony. There's plenty of indoor seating for groups of 4, ,8, even 10 to sit together. The happy hour drinks from 4-7pm are excellent with better quality than most bars in terms of well drinks. However, I highly recommend you get one of their speciality cocktails, it's worth the upgrade. If you prefer a cold brew, they have 24 taps, with many dedicated to local craft breweries serving the best of our Texas brew. I recommend McConauhaze for an IPA but they have several options and plan to add more. Most nights you'll find the owner wandering around taking care of the never ending back end details of a new bar but finding time to socialize with the patrons. The local crowd includes families and you may even catch a dad dancing with his little girl to live music. It's the kind of place you can enjoy everyday. Schertz Creek is truly a neighborhood gem and I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit....

First off, let me start by saying this is our first time here. They open at 4 PM and we arrived at about 4:05 PM. The only person on the premises was the owner Mike and he was not prepared for all of the patrons that would be coming in lol. However, he was very honest about when the bartenders will be coming in, what his experience was, and what to expect. Super friendly and a really great guy. A brand new bartender showed up for her first day on shift and her name was Sabrina. She was fantastic! And the bar manager arrived as well and I’m not sure of his name but he was fun and easy-going as well. Advertised a special on Facebook that clearly offered discounts on specific drinks without specification of times and certain populations so we decided to try this place out. Upon arrival, when asked, the bartender was unaware of the special offered on Facebook. When she asked the gentleman behind the bar, he said that the special was only from 4-7 and only for teachers. When showing them the Facebook post, the female bartender attempted to have the advertisement honored, but the male bartender, possibly manager or owner would not honor it. This was clearly a bait and switch to get customers in. Will never return to a business that reverts to deceiving tactics to mislead customers into coming in, and then not honor what was advertised....
