Loyal Customer No More! I began my day by making a phone order while speaking with a customer service representative. The way to order onions and peppers in a taco (a la Mexicana) was unclear to me at that time, but I couldn't recall the correct terms. Upon my arrival, I provided my name at the counter, prompting laughter from the four employees present. Subsequently, I discovered the reason behind their amusement.
I picked up my order, and when I returned home, I found that two of the four tacos that were supposed to be on corn tortillas were not, and all were flour. I had also requested only green salsa. The representative had told me that I would receive three green salsas, and if I wanted more, I could pay extra; however, I only received two. Upon recognizing the errors in my order, I called the establishment to address the issue. The representative acknowledged her mistake, as she had taken my order, and inquired if I would be willing to drive back for the correct corn tortillas.
I expressed my preference for having the two tacos remade correctly, and I would return the incorrectly prepared items. I'm reluctant to drive back solely for corn tortillas, and the only other option was to be credited with a few tortillas for the next visit. This approach was entirely inadequate, as I would incur greater expenses in fuel than the value of the missing items. As a customer, all I wanted was my correct order, especially after the fault was admitted on her end.
Such customer service can be perceived as a disregard for customer loyalty and satisfaction, particularly for a long-standing customer. It is disappointing that instances such as this can contribute to the erosion of a business's clientele. Still, most companies have shifted their focus away from actual customer satisfaction these days, and this was no exception. Given my significant contributions to their business since my return from military service in 2016, I have decided that I will not be returning to their...
Read moreThe craziest thing just happened in this Jalisco, so much so that I’m literally still in shock lol.
We went in for breakfast and my mom was giving this place a try again — well, let me tell you biggest mistake we could have made. My mother ordered Caldo de Rez, we are Mexican and this is something we have often and the meat was hard as well as the vegetables. She tried, she really did to like the food but she just didn’t. She had maybe two bites and decided she didn’t want it so we asked to take it back.
Well the owner did NOT like that lol, she came over with the bowl and proceeded to demonstrate with her BARE HANDS that the meat was “cooked fine” as she ripped it apart in front of us. Again, with no gloves or anything? 😭 Then she expected us to take it back and eat it? After she touched it with her bare hands?
We did not want it so we told her that — she told us she would have to charge us anyways, which at this point we would have just to get out of there. She later comes back and tells us she removes the caldo but not before giving me a lecture like I’m her child because we didn’t like the food.
I said I was going to leave a review — which I never do because most of the time it just isn’t worth it especially with smaller businesses but this was just a crazy interaction — she told me that just said “what kind of person I am.” Which? Means what exactly? This coming from the OWNER is a bit comical. You would think they would be okay with not everyone liking their food.
Overall insane experience, but we will NEVER go back again and if you go there and happen to not like the food for whatever reason just know it will be a fight to...
Read moreOur first time here. We stopped in today to satisfy a craving for Caldo de Res. Found the pictures posted looking pretty appealing. We were greeted when we entered and was told to take a seat anywhere. Just a minute later our server greeted us and with chips and salsa. We Added a large order of guacamole to that. They have a pretty extensive menu with a lot of typical choices. We ordered Caldo de Res, The Shertz Combo Meal and the Fried Fish Dinner. The salsa for the chips is mild and very tasty. Good addition and kids would like it too. The guacamole was blended, good flavor but I got an occasional pepper that was overly hot. So I ended up picking through the guacamole. According to my Wife, the Caldo was the best she has had in a long time. Cuddos for the Chef. Our son said the fried fish was exactly how he imagined it and it was served with a healthy portion of fries. My Shertz Combo plate looked appetizing and it was. Each item had its own distinctive flavor and was tasty. The only thing to knock about the dinner, would be to include a knife with the meal instead of having to ask for it. Although our server was very accommodating. The other knock is the beef puffy taco was a bit oily which soaked the taco and it fell apart about half way through. We all would order exactly what we had again without question. Our server was very accommodating and pleasant to talk with. We are looking forward to our next meal there. Maybe one of the Lunch specials or even the 3 taco special served before 10:30 am.... I will post again how our next meal will be. Here is the menu and pictures...
