Subway — Restaurant in Scotch Plains

I have never experience such poor customer service. I frequent this location however, I usually order in store. Today I decided to order ahead using the app. I ordered and arrived at the store 16mins later to be told the order had no been received and the sandwich had not been made. I expected that by showing the employee my subway confirmation and PayPal receipt that he would be sorry for the delay and make my sandwich. He said he could not make my food until he received the order on his computer. I asked him if he expected me to wait until the order (which was placed now 20mins ago) would arrive. I then asked him to refund me which is said he could not/would not. He said I would have to phone subway customer service to deal with this. On my way home, I called subway to only be given automated message machines. At this point I drove back and told him that he had to take my name and number and call me when he receives my order and refund me immediately. Terrible customer service. I showed him confirmation and payment. If (for whatever reason) the store didn’t ever receive the order they would lose out in a couple of dollars of the cost but now they have lost out on a customer forever. Have some common sense. It’s your issue. Make the sandwich and apologize. Still...

Usually this would be our go to place as my 7yr old loves subway every now and again. So on March 11, 2020 my husband and son set out to go purchase a sandwich for our son. He arrived there at 735pm to the doors of the establishment locked, he then knocks the door, the employee was there making a salad, says I'm closed and ignored my husband standing out in the cold. He then walks away and went to the back employee area or the establishment. Another customer walks up to my husband and asked are they closed? So they engage in conversation with the other customer saying that is so rude. I then told my husband to take a picture of the establishment. Now the establishment time listed on their facility says open until 8pm and the website says 10pm but this guy left 2 customers outside in the cold at 735pm. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely lost my family...

Terrible who ever the white guy is making the food on may17th 6:49pm is the nastiest man in the world with his tonee of voice. He asked what no one else in my party is ordering why are they there. Well gee maybe we wanna pay seperate. Next he asked what bread for my sandwhich i tell him herb and the dick says choose from my list and points at the sign so i choose from the sign and he says i only have wheat now. Why didnt you tell me that? Then i want spinach on my sub and you guys are out of that. Lettuce. Tomatoes. Close...
